Chapter 3.
3 months later...
David and I had parted at the airport. It hadn't been a very emotional parting, but I'd promised him I would watch every episode of the show while I was away. And now, after a short flight, I was already starting my work.
I was due to do a photo shoot of the band behind stage. Someone from the stage crew introduced me to the makeup artist. She put her hand out smiling, "Hey, my names Lexi." She was tall and slender, with curly blonde hair and a wide smile. Obviously being a makeup artist meant her makeup was done to perfection.
I smiled back, shyly. "Ashley Peterman" I said, shaking her hand. Then suddenly, a group of guys came through the door.
The were all laughing and talking, as they came in. I only recognised them from the many magazines that I had seen them in. These boys were obviously One Direction.
The first two were both well built and good looking. Who am I kidding, they were all good looking. One of them looked slightly older than the rest, and was busily chatting away to a cheeky looking blonde guy.
I knew the names of the two standing next to them, Liam and Zayn. This was only because my little sister had made me a birthday card with pictures of them glued on the front.
The 5th boy was standing a little close to me than all the others. His brown curls hung in his face, all ruffled up. He was staring at me with a curious look on his face. When our eyes met I quickly looked away.
Lexi called them over, "Oi, boys, come meet Ashley. She's going to be doing this photo shoot." One by one they came over, "There's Louis, Niall, Liam, Zayn and.." The 5th one smiled at me, "Harry, my names Harry."
I stumbled over my words when he smiled. All those perfect white teeth were intimidating. "A-Ashley, Ashley Peterman."
Lexi then clapped her hands, "right! Where do you want them?" I looked up in surprise, "What? Oh, um yes. Niall could you please stand in the middle for me, and put your hands in your pockets. Perfect."
I continued like that for about 30 minutes before getting the photos I needed. Lexi came up and patted me on the back, "that was brilliant, I can see why they hired you." I decided I liked her.
That was when Lexi turned around, "can someone please show Ashley around the arena?" The room fell silent and I stood there uncomfortably. Then a voice spoke up, "I will Lex." I turned around to see it was Harry.
