It Started With A Phone Call

Packing. That's what I needed to do.This past week has been insane.One Direction invited me to L.A. for two weeks while they are on tour,all expenses paid. At first I felt bad for taking their money,but they soon convinced me.I've downloaded their songs on my phone and I enjoyed quite a few of them.
I haven't seen Mitch since two days ago on that night. He hasn't showed up to school. My followers on twitter have gone up since Niall tweeted me back. To everyone I seem like a fan that has said they inspired me and I got lucky from doing so, but the boys and I know better.The rest we handled privately between us.
I decided to spend some money I saved and go buy some new clothes.I live in Sacramento California and have never traveled so i went to Wal-mart to buy some traveling necessities.I see a cute carry on bag with pink poka-dots and make my way too it. I'm about to grab it when my hand brushes against someone's. I turn too see a girl about my age with brown wavy hair and glasses
"Oh hey sorry you can have it"she says
"No its fine you can have it"I quickly say
"Thanks, It's going to be my first trip alone. It's an 18th birthday present"she says smiling.
"That's cool. Where are you going?"I ask curiously.
"Los Angeles"She says smiling
"Are you kidding?That's where I'm going!"I say.
We spend the next few hours going from store to store having fun. I learn that her name is Leslie Henderson.She turned 18 last week and her parents were sending her to LA as a present.I learned many other things about her as she did about me.I didn't tell her I was going to LA to meet One Direction I just said to meet up with some friends. We ended up exchanging numbers(Yes I had gotten my phone back)We texted each other the rest of the night,both too excited to sleep,tomorrow we were both headed to LA.We promised to meet up while there.Everything seemed to be turning around in my life.
