It Started With A Phone Call

Alice's P.O.V.

I'm screwed. Eleven people think I'm a runaway teen with drug and alcohol problems. Well, I am a runaway but I'm not an alcoholic and I've never done drugs.

Next to me sat Roo,I couldn't read her expression. "That's absolute shit."she said.

"Tell me about it."I said. There was really nothing else I could say in this situation. We sat in silence for about 10 minutes before someone knocked on the door. I exchanged a nervous glance with Roo before she went to open the door.I heard some whispering before Niall walked in,and I assume Roo left. He ran his hand through his hair as he let out a sigh.

"You aren’t a dug addict or an alcoholic." he stated, before pacing around the room. "I mean,you would have been on a withdrawal right now. Right? Unless you have been doing that without me noticing?Oh my god please Allison tell me you haven't been-"

"Niall! I am not into that shit." I said. Again,he let out a sigh and sat next to me on the bed.

"I'm sorry," I said.
"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have just assumed they were being honest. Especially after everything you've told me."

He pulled me closer to him and hugged me tightly."You've been through so much and I am so sorry."he said as he kissed the top of my head.

"It's not like it's your fault."

"But now they know where you are and who you're with!They could take you away from me, Ally."

"Well... I can't do anything about it,Niall. I'm still a minor and my aunt is legally responsible for me."I was snuggled up to him and if he would just shut up about a situation I can't do anything about, I would say this was a very sweet moment

"I just wish there was something we could do."

"Can we just not talk about this right now?" I asked. I got up and pulled the covers down and got under them. "Just cuddle with me I'm cold." I said making him chuckled. He kicked off his shoes before laying next to me and putting his arm around my shoulder.

The tv was on but they had moved onto celebrity gossip. Niall took the remote and flipped through the channels as I drifted off to sleep.

"Alice wake up." I heard as someone was shaking me.

I mumbled as I slowly got up only to find an excited looking Niall.

"I know what we can do!We can get you emancipated!"

"Emancipated?" I repeat. I mean it doesn't sound like a bad idea right?
