Something Great

Lucy's POV
when i woke up, i looked at Niall. he was already staring at me. when he saw that i had woken up, he blushed and pretended he was asleep. "Great try Niall, i already saw you." i said chuckling. we got out of bed and i told him where his clothes that he had left here before were. he went dowbstairs to get dressed while i made the bed. i got dressed and did my makeup.
i went downstairs and because i had heard Steven yelling at Niall. As i got there i heard Steven yell, "how can you sleep wiyh my sister?! i swear if you did anything bad to her i will beat the c**p out of you!"
"Steven! Niall and i didnt do anything bad! he stayed here with me because he didnt want me to be alone. in fact you should be thanking him that he didnt leave me here alone!" i yelled deffending Niall.
"oh.. i'm so sorry i overreacted Niall. its just that she's my baby sister..." Steven said quietly.
"I know what you mean. I would do anything for her to" said Niall pulling me closer and hugging me.
we ate breakfast. it was kind of awkward because i was the only girl there. Steven really needs to get a girlfriend, i thought. we finished eating breakfast and i brushed my teeth and grabbed my bag. we headed to the cars. Steven went in his own car and Niall and i went in his.
"Niall i'm so sorry about Steven" i said.
"Yeah its fine. i get that he was only trying to protect you.." Niall replied.
Niall and i got to school and we walked together inside. i saw Grace and said "bye Niall im gonna go with Grace"
"Bye" he said. i went up to Grace and saw that she was cleaning out her locker. "why are you cleaning out your locker? arent you leaving next week?" i asked.
"Uh Lucy, about that" she began before tearing up. "i'm moving this Saturday, Lucy" today was Thursday.
"Grace, why? we have to hang out later then. okay?" i asked.
"yeah Lucy. we will." she said. i helped her finish cleaning her locker and she took the stuff in her car. we put the things in the car and headed to class. for the first two classes, i couldnt stop thinking about what i would do after grace moved. i couldnt imagine my life without her. we've been through so much together.
we became friends a couple years ago. in 8th grade when she moved. she didnt have any friends and neither did i. we were inseperable after that.
i was in third period and Niall came in and sat next to me. "Lucy i need to tell you someth-" Niall said before he got interrupted by Zayn.
"Hey Lucy. are we still hanging out tomorrow?" Zayn asked. oh shoot. i totally forgot!
"Uh yeah Zayn. where do you want to meet up at?" i asked.
"Just wait for me after school by my car" he said smiling.
"yeah i'll meet you there" i said. Zayn left and sat down behind us.
"why are you guys hanging out tomorrow?" Niall asked.
"we just need to talk about something. what did you need to tell me Niall?" i asked.
"Nevermind. just forget it." he said. i saw his face look sad. we didnt talk for the rest of the period.
*skip 4th period*
"Grace where are we gonna hang out later?" i asked thinking that her room was probably filled with boxes.
"We can go over to my house?" she asked.
"sure" I said.we ate our lunch talking about all the great times we've had.
*P.E*
I changed into the same outfit i had a couple days ago and saw Zayn. i walked over to Zayn. "where are you gonna take me tomorrow?" i asked.
"It's a surprise" he said with a smirk.
"Okay fine." i said. "i wonder why Niall got bothered about us hanging out tomorrow.." i thought out loud.
"well he never took his chance with you so i took mine" he said as he ran away.
what did Zayn mean by that? Could Niall possibly like me? and if he did would i like him back? what if both Zayn and Niall like me? who would i choose?
*P.E. over*
i got changed and went with Grace to her house.
