"Wait! Rosie!" Liam shouted after me. I keep running, knowing he would chase after me anyway. I was right.

I felt Liam's fingers wrap tightly around my wrist as he pulled me back. "Rosie, I'm sorry, I never meant for it to go this far–" I stopped him by pulling my arm out of his grasp.

"Stop it, Liam! I'm done, okay?!" Liam just stood speechless as I continued running.

Notes

Background info: Rosie Walker is Liam Payne's best friend. Liam is dared by his friends during a party to ask her out, and then dump her when she least expects it. Of course Liam accepts because he doesn't want to seem like a wimp. And he's half drunk. So he does it, right? And they start dating. After a week or so, Rosie's bully (who was at the party) tells Rosie the truth while Liam is in the bathroom. (Liam and Rosie are on a date in Starbucks.)
