Pure Luck
Chapter 6.
Niall's P.O.V
I was thankful to Jess, for letting my cooking disaster go. She seemed happier with pizza any how. We sat down on the floor, leaning on the couch and had dinner there.
It was nice to find out she didn't feel uncomfortable around me. She never had before, but not seeing someone for a while can change the way you see each other.
She got tired after a while and rested her head on my lap. I couldn't help but admire her as she lay there, she was beautiful. She had always been pretty but now she had lost that childish look about her. And it made her look quite fantastic.
Jess noticed me watching her and a concerned look came across her face, "if I'm being a bother tell me." I shook my head, "nah you're fine."
Jess slowly staggered up on her feet, "right Niall, are you going to tell me where you sweets stash is, or am I going to have to hunt it down?" I smirked, "you'll never find it, it's well hidden. She walked off down the hallway, a determined look on her face.
A few minutes later she came back looking triumphant, "Niall James Horan, you are wayyy to predictable." I looked up and there, in her hands, was a packet of M&M's, a box of wine gums and a bottle of Dr. Pepper.
I almost spat out my pizza, "what?! How'd you find them?" Jess laughed, "they were hidden under you're bed, that's not a particularly brilliant hiding spot." I laughed as well.
She sat down and spread the junk food on the floor, before opening the M&M's. Almost instantly, as if they heard the chocolate being opened, we heard a knock on the door. I got up and opened it, in walked Harry, Zayn, Liam and Louis. Zayn grinned, "SURPRISE!"
Liam's P.O.V
It had been Louis's idea to go see Jess. We all walked into the apartment in single file, "SURPRISE!" Zayn grinned. I walked over to Jess as she got onto her feet.
"Liam!" she squealed, and ran up to me, giving me a gentle hug. "Jess! It's so good to see you" I smiled, "how've you been?" Jess laughed, "I've been fabulous, but I suspect that you've been having a lot more fun than me! So what's Danielle like?" I felt my cheeks turn red, "she amazing, you'd really love her." Jess winked, "well anyone who's dating my Liam, must be pretty amazing!." I chuckled.
It was Harry's and Louis's turn next to come say hi. Her and Louis talked for ages, before she ran up to Harry and wrapped him in one of her loving hugs, "Aww, Harry's all grown up!" Harry, being the youngest of all of us, was teased for being the baby of the group. He poked his tongue out at her, "nice to see you too Jess."
Jess's P.O.V
Words could not describe how excited I was to see them all. I felt like jumping up and down screaming, but luckily I kept my cool.
We had an awesome night, watching movies, drinking and eating Niall's stash, and the extra stuff the lads had brought. It was around 3 o'clock in the early morning, when Harry and Liam finally left. Zayn and Louis left around 2, cclaiming they had a big party tomorrow.
After they were all gone, I went into the kitchen and started to do the dishes. Niall was fast asleep on the couch so I just let him lay there. He looked fairly happy asleep and I didn't want to ruin it.
I picked up all the rubbish and left over food, before writing a quick note and leaving it on the fridge.
'Pizza is in the fridge, have put left over junk back under your bed but I suggest you find a better hiding spot ;) Love J x'
I headed out to my car then, locking the door behind me as I left.
