Pure Luck
Chapter 4
Jess's P.O.V
All the butterflies had disappeared from before the show. I had enjoyed it, the song was easy and the audience was a good. I sat behind stage in the sound room. It was a place the singers could practice with out it bothering anyone, so I came here a lot. The room was empty, usually everyone left right after they finished.
I heard the door open as Kimi walked in. She started clapping, "and once again, Jessica Mills is the star of the show." You couldn't tell she wanted to be a television presenter could you? I just laughed, "thanks Kim".
She pulled up a stool and sat down next to me, "so are you coming to the party tonight or what?" I paused. "Um actually I was thinking I'd just chill at home, sorry." Kimi poked her bottom lip out, "but Jesssss, I'll be lonely with out you!" I was about to reply when suddenly someone came in. I looked up and my mouth fell open. Kimi, seeing my reaction, followed my gaze. "Oh my GOD! You're Niall Horan!"
Niall's P.O.V
Zayn had practically dragged my the whole way. The old man who had sang earlier was sitting out the back having a smoke. "Hey, have you seen a girl named Jess?" The man exahaled the smoke and took a moment to reply, "Jess Mills?" he asked. Zayn nodded. "She's in the sound room, over there." Zayn thanked him and pulled me over to the door, "right, go on through." By this time I was actually excited and nervous. Slowly I opened the door with Zayn following after me.
Jess's P.O.V
"Niall?!" I practically screamed, "It's so good to see you!" I bounded across the room and engulfed him in a bear hug. When Zayn entered behind Niall, Kimi almost fainted.
"Zayn, you too!" I smiled, "are the other boys here?" I came up and gave Zayn a quick hug. Niall was laughing, "Yeah, the lads out there at our table."
I was ecstatic, god it was amazing to hear that Irish accent I'd missed so much. "I can't believe you're here!" I squealed, "how long are you here for?!" Niall smiled, "We're in London for the next 3 months before tour starts."
I studied him as he spoke, he looked much more mature than when we had been on X Factor but he was still a good looking lad. Kimi came up behind me, "now Jess I would like to know, just HOW you forgot to mention that you were friends with One Direction?" I rolled my eyes and Niall grinned.
Kimi's P.O.V
Jess just happens to know the biggest boy band ON EARTH and forgot to mention it too me. That is not something you forget to mention to your best friend, I mean come on!
Zayn stuck out his hand, "hey, I'm Zayn." I nodded and shook his hand, "you don't say?" He just smiled. And may I say he has a very cute smile.
Jess and Niall we're still swooning over each other. Now if I said this she would completely deny it but, it's true. I stopped to listen in to the conversation.
"We have to meet up soon!" Jess said. Niall smiled happily,"you should come around to my apartment tomorrow night." He gave her his address. "I'd love too" she replied.
Zayn gave Niall a tug on the shirt. Niall spoke, "we better go back to the table, so I'll see you tomorrow night?" Jess nodded smiling, "definately." Niall waved as he was dragged by Zayn out if the room.
