Summary
Avalynn is pretty weird, but she's the good kind. She's the kind of girl who's shy and has her nose stuck in a book. Moving from her quiet town to a big city in a whole new country is stressful especially with her quirks. She's worried about how she'll fit in and if she'll have any friends. Luckily she met a boy her age who happens to live right next to her. It's a story about the parts of growing up that nobody wants to talk about, so raise a drink. Mozel Tov!
Characters
Avalynn Cepek
Main Character- Just moved to London from a small town in the USA. She's shy and smart, your perfect example of a good girl. She's worried about her new life and how people will treat her. In highschool it's hard to keep your good morals.
Corinne (Corie) Riddell
Avalynn's "friend"- She's a part of the group but she's not exactly Avalynn's friend. She's a mega-whore and will pretty much sleep with everyone. She's best friends with Perrie, they are really close. All of the boys gravitate to her because she's easy. She doesn't like Avalynn because of her good girl personality and how she's captivated everyone around her.
Emmet Knight
Jock- He's friend with Skylar and her clique as well as the other jock boys. He's on the football team with Louis and want him to join the jock group. He also finds Avalynn to be attractive.
Finn Cepek
Avalynn's Brother- He's her super cool, senior, older brother who becomes instantly popular due to his good looks and badboy, rocker style. He's protective over his sister but he's also "too cool" to show he cares. Becomes friends with Harry.
Gabe Elster
Jock- He's on the hockey team and unlike Paxton, he's super sweet and caring. This trait tends to push most girls away but it scores him points with Avalynn. He's really goofy and funny.
Harry Styles
Avalynn's Neighbor- he's that cute boy next door whom Avalynn meets when she's moving in. He's a really sweet guy with a carefree personality, to him life is about living free and having fun. Due to this he often makes bad choices and come across as a bad kid. He's still polite and respectful, most of the time when he isn't partying. he's best friends with Niall, Liam, Zayn, and Louis. He's also friends with other members of the group.
Hollie Turrini
Avalynn's Best Friend- She's the first real friend that Avalynn makes, they have very similar personalities and styles. Hollie is a part of Harry's group of friends although she is quite different than most of the group. She's very smart and secluded, a lot like Avalynn.
Jodi Pratt
Avalynn's friend- She's misunderstood and a rebel. Despite being gorgeous she's never really had a boyfriend. She doesn't sleep around but that doesn't stop her from smoking and partying. Zayn took her under his wing and he protects her because she's a year younger than most of the group. If anyone hurts her he will personally beat them up.
Liam Payne
Avalynn's Close Friend- Avalynn quickly clicks with Liam when she meets him. He's a part of Harry's group and he's best friends with him as well as Louis, Niall, and Zayn. Out of everyone he's the most responsible which is why Avalynn is drawn to him. They become very close friends. Liam usually has to be the one to keep an eye on his rambunctious friends.
Louis Tomlinson
Avalynn's Friend- Louis is a part of Harry's group but he's relatively controlled due to his athletics. Out of the group he is the sports star in football so he can't party or do drugs as much. He's very hotheaded and can be easily persuaded due to wanting to fit in. He's reckless personality often gets him in trouble but he is a great friend.
Niall Horan
Avalynn's Friend- He'a a part of the group and a lot like Harry. He's very polite and sweet but he's also into partying but he refuses to smoke. He's the one in the group who's still a child at heart and this often leads him to make bad decisions. He's a good friend of Avalynn.
Paxton Belser
Jock- He's very full of himself and has a thing for Skylar but he likes Avalynn. He's the hockey star and can pretty much pick up any girl he wants. He's a big flirt and a major jerk.
Perrie Edwards
Avalynn's Friend- She's a friend of Avalynn even though she is nothing like her. Perrie is into partying and being reckless, she's the main girl in the group and all of the guys want to be with her. She has whorish tendancies even though she doesn't mean to. Her and Zayn are in a complicated relationship where they are always breaking up and getting back together. She's very pursuasive and can easily get her way.
Quinn Bruzik
Skylar's Friend- She's a bit more outgoing than Talia and often defends herself against Skylar. Akthough she doesn't like how mean Skylar is she is still friends with her. She doesn't despise Avalynn after she gets to know her. They secretly become friends because they're on the girls soccer team together. She ends up sticking up for Avalynn despite what Skylar thinks.
Skylar Tiffany
Part of the Popular Group- She's the main girl of the other group and hates Avalynn for capturing everyone's attention. She's the school's head cheerleader and miss goodie-goodie although most of the time she isn't so good. She practically runs the school and she doesn't want anybody in her way. She has two bestfriends who are a part of her group as well as a couple of athletic guys.
Talia Aureli
Skylar's Friend- She's a part of Skylar group and pretty much does whatever she says. She can be mean to the people she doesn't like but to everyone else she seems very sweet and likable. She lets Skylar boss her around even if she doesn't appreciate the way she treats her.
Tex Kaye
Avalynn's friend- He's a part of the group but not a main part, he has other friends outside of it. He's on the football team with louis and often convinces him to leave to be with the more popular jocks. He's a sweet guy and not into the whole partying thing. he doesn't believe that Avalynn belongs with harry's group.
Zayn Malik
Avalynn's Friend- Part of the group, he plays the role of the badboy. He should be a senior but he was held back a year due to trouble with the law. Most girls would drop everything, he is dating Perrie but they have a carefree and off and on relationship. He's your picture of rebel, drug, alcohol, parties, you name it. Behind his dark side he is very sweet which makes him mysterious.
