Evangeline POV


Our van is the first one to the house. Upon piling out I marvel at the huge house in front of me. At the meeting they had said a house but this is more like a mansion. The boys are very loud exiting the van. Louis runs up to me grabs my waist, picks me up and spins me around.
"Evan! I missed you." Louis exclaims. He sets me down and my skin is cold where his hands were.
"I just saw you an hour ago." I state.
"But the boys were picking on me and I needed my buddy." Louis complains.
"Awww poor Louis." I say patting his head. "But next time I think you should just talk to Calum hes your buddy too."
"I'm what?" Calum asks from behind me.
"His buddy."
"Oh ok I can deal with that Evan. I think he wanted to talk to you for other reasons though." Calum states nudging me.
I roll my eyes. "Whatever."
I look around at the other girls in their groups.
"Evan?" I see Daphne mouth.
I shrug my shoulders. When I had met the boys I told them to call me Leena but Louis had dubbed me Evan.
"So what do you want to do?" Calum asks.
"Get started on the competition." I say at the same time Louis states.
"I wanna go exploring."
Calum looks between us.
"If we go exploring then we will lose. Competition first exploring second."
"Promise we can go after?" Louis asks giving me puppy dog eyes.
"Sure."
Louis smiles and links his arm through mine. I offer Calum my other arm and he takes it. We go skipping into the house. I stop in front of Jared.
"Jared, love, wheres our room?" I ask.
Jared smiles, "Up the stairs and all the way at the end of the hall." We head up the stairs the staircase is wide enough I don't have to let go of either boy. We head down the hall until we reach double doors at the end of the hall. I drop the boys' arms and open one of the doors. Floor to ceiling windows onto a balcony greet me. I rush over to the balcony through the gauzy curtains and look down.
"We have a view over the pool." I yell back to the boys.
I hear them laughing behind me.
I turn and stick my tongue out at them which just causes them to laugh more.
"Hey Evan I think I found your papers." Louis says holding up a folder.
I rush inside and try and snatch it from him. Louis holds it up on his tip toes. I just snatch it from him.
"No fair!" Louis pouts.
"That's the benefits of being tall and having long arms." I state.
I open the folder and see a lot of paper inside formed into packets. They are labeled by name. I had Louis and Calum their packets and plop onto the couch to read mine.
"Now that we've looked at them can we go exploring?" Louis whines.
"Still looking." I state waving the papers I hadn't actually had a chance to open my packet yet.
Opening it I look at the first page.
Welcome to the Competition Miss Parks,
Here at management we all realize how driven you are. We have seen your schedule and all your hard work. This week it is your job to try and relax. We've cleared your schedule and you are banned from making a new one. Any non-compliance will deduct points from your team and we all know how much you like to win Miss Parks. So maybe let the boys take charge and decide what activities to do. As you walk around today the guards will be quizzing you on basic facts about you partners. The info you need to know is on page 3.
There are a series of personalized questions for each of the boys in the following pages. This is not however the info we want to hear when you introduce the boys. We don't want to know their words we want to know yours so be creative and make up your own questions.

I flip briefly through the next couple of pages.
"Um Louis theres some stuff we have to do before we can leave the room."
I show the boys the get to know you page and we sit down and fill it out.
Once we've finished I look around at the boys.
"So what's next?"
"Your asking us?" Calum asks eyebrows raised. "The girl who always has a schedule."
I look at him confused. "Where did you hear that?"
Calum starts blushing. "Um,.....well.....I....." he stammers.
I smile and shake my head.
"You looked all of us up once you found out you were touring with us didn't you."
"Yeah that's right." Calum says with a nervous laugh.
"Can we go exploring now?" Louis asks to break the tension.
"Sure let me just put my suit on so I can sunbathe when we're done." I say and head off to my room. Management had already had our stuff brought from the hotel. Opening my suitcase I grab out one of my bikinis. I grab one out to drop off for Cassidy too because like I told her earlier we really need to go shopping. I quickly changed and came out. I saw Louis sitting where he was earlier just in his swimming trunks with a towel over his neck.
"Louis put a shirt on otherwise we're not going exploring."
"You're not the boss of me." Louis says playfully wiggling his shoulders.
I roll my eyes.
"Where's Calum?"
"Umm... I think he's in the bathroom changing. Ummmm can I ask you a few questions for the introduction thing?"
"Sure." I say smiling.
"So other then the instruments you guys play what are the roles like in the band?"
"What do you mean?" I ask cocking my head slightly.
"Well you know how like Harry's the flirt, Niall's the funny one, Liam's smart, Zayn is vain and I'm the leader."
I scoff at Louis mention of being the leader.
"Um the official one or the one we made up for ourselves."
"Um the made up one?" Louis says questioningly.
"Um well Skylar is the responsible one the official one puts her as the leader but its like you being the leader we are all kinda equal Skylar is just the mature one. Daphne is the rebel, Mads is the funny one and Cass is the prankster."
"And you?" Louis asks.
I smirk. Leaning over I place my hands on his legs and put my lips close to his ear.
"The tease." I give Louis a wink as I pull back. I see Louis gulp.
"Ready to go guys?" Calum asks bursting into the room in swim trunks and a shirt.
I link my arms around one of his.
"It's about time. Let's go."
Louis still visibly shaken gets up and follows us out the door.
"What's up with him?" Calum asks.
I shrug my shoulders. "No clue."
"Guys I gotta stop at Cassidy's room for a sec k?"
I pull them to a door noticing that there are signs on the suite doors saying who is in each room.
I knock loudly on the door and Cassidy soon answers. She looks disheveled.
"Oh thank god its you Leena. Please save me these boys are driving me nuts."
I scoff, "It cant be that bad Cass."
I hear a crash and an I'm ok from behind Cassidy and she winces.
"Ok it might be that bad but hey you can deal with it."
Cassidy rolls her eyes, "Yeah right."
I half shrug, "Just give them hell for a couple of days and you'll be fine."
"Give them hell?" Cassidy asks questioningly.
"Yeah you know bleach in the shampoo, soap in the toothpaste that kind of thing."
Cassidy smiles evilly. That might not have been the best idea telling her to prank the boys but at least it would keep her from pranking me for a few days. Cassidy grabs the suit from me.
"So when are we going shopping?" She asks
"Tomorrow maybe?"
Cassidy smiles.
"See you then."
I give her a finger wave and turn back to the boys.
"Did you just tell her to prank Zayn and Michael?" Calum asks,
"It's not polite to eavesdrop." I retort.
"Should we warn them?" Louis asks Calum.
"Don't you dare." I state menacingly.
Louis shrugs. "Let's go."
We end up on our way to the pool quickly finding out there is nothing to explore in the house.
"Can we explore the gardens tomorrow?" Louis asks.
"Umm....we're going shopping with Cassidy, Zayn and Michael."
"Shopping." Calum groans, "Great."
Jared walks up to us.
"Hey guys I'm here to ask you some questions since you decided to venture out. Louis what's Leena's middle name?"
"Clarice." Louis answers.
"Calum what's Leena's favorite color?"
"That's simple pink."
"Leena what is Louis' favorite band."
"The Frey."
"Good you guys actually put in the work. Now a tip Paul is down this hallway but if you duck in here and go down you can miss him."
"Thanks Jared." I say smiling.
"That was easy." Calum remarks.
"Definitely." I agree.
When we reach the pool deck I lay my towel out on the chair. Grabbing my sunscreen I start applying it everywhere I can reach. Louis plops down behind me.
"Here take your shirt off so I can get your back." Louis offers.
"If you wanted me to take my clothes off there are other ways you could have asked." I say sarcastically but still pull my shirt off. Louis takes the sunscreen from me and applies it to my back massaging it while applying.
"Thanks." I say quietly when he passes it back. After finishing applying sunscreen I lay on my back with every intention of just lying here to get a tan. I hear a couple of splashes that tell me the boys have jumped in the pool.
"Evan come in."
"Yeah I don't think so."
"Leena!" I hear exclaimed. Openning my eyes I see Skylar, Harry and Luke.
"Hey guys hows everything going?"
"Well Harry here." Skylar says sending him a playful glare, "forgot Luke's favorite band when Paul asked so we got like a 10 minute lecture on getting our work done."
Harry looks indignant. "I was close."
"You didn't know." Skylar retorts
Harry and Luke get in the pool while Skylar stretched out next to me.
"So hows everything going with you guys?" Skylar asks. "Your not messing with the boys too much are you?"
"Umm... I think I scared Louis a bit. I went to see Cass we're going shopping tomorrow."
"What for?"
"We are getting her a new wardrobe."
"Oh I'm definitely in. How is she coping by the way?"
"Um I think the boys are overwhelming her a bit but I told her to just prank them to relieve tension so I think she can handle it."
"Leena!"
"What you know it helps her I think its Daphne's group we need to be worried about. I think Madison can hold her own even though she was acting really weird earlier."
"Agreed poor Liam, poor Dustin how long do you think it took for Daphne to corner them."
"I think its the other way around Daphne looked totally freaked earlier. Do you think we should invite the other girls shopping too?"
"Definitely." Skylar states.
"Hey Evan you coming in?" I stop talking with Skylar and turn to see Louis forearms on the ide of the pool staring at me.
"Um no."
"Why not?"
"Her hair she wont get it wet it would ruin the curl she put in it." Skylar answers for me.
Louis just smiles broadly.
"Well at least come closer."
"Fine." I say and scoot the lounge chair far enough so that I can dip my toes in the water.
Grabbing my song book I open it up and start doodling thinking of ideas. After a couple minutes of the water lapping and the guys splashing each other I hear Skylar yell.
"Leena look out."
I grip the edge of the chair so the boys cant pull me in. The chair however is pushed from behind. The world spins for a second before I hit the water. surfacing I see Louis laughing from behind where I was sitting. Diving I grab my notebook that had settled on the bottom. I plop it onto the pool deck.
"If this is ruined you're dead."
"I agree." Skylar states. "There was a good portion of our new songs in there that we had been working on."
Louis plucks it up and holds it sideways the book flopping open.
"Sorry, you can still read the words though but I don't think you can write on them anymore." While Louis is talking I get out of the pool and come up beside him. I grab the book out of his hand and toss it to Skylar.
"I am going to kill you." I tell Louis
"No your not." Louis states cockily.
"And why not."
"Because of this." Louis says as he takes off running.
I dash after him.
"Louis!"
He looks of his shoulder and laughs. I run harder and start to gain on him.
"Got you." I say jumping on Louis' back to slow him down.
"Nope." Louis says twisting around so that I'm over his shoulder.
"Louis put me down." I say banging on his back.
"Nope your accent comes out stronger when you're mad you know."
"Whatever." I yell.
I feel Louis' feet leave the ground as he jumps into the pool. We come up sputtering. The others have gone kind of quiet.
"Louis William Tomlinson I told you to put me down now you got me all wet again." I yell at Louis.
He looks sheepish and I finally notice he isn't looking at me.
Turning I see Simon Cowell by the side of the pool smirking.
"Well, well I see you guys are already starting to get to know each other. I came by to meet with you guys but first can someone explain to my why there's a chair in the pool."
