Expect The Unexpected (Half A Heart)

Niall's POV
I pull up to Ads house 5 minutes early, so I wait in my car and just think.
I can't believe I am going on a date with her. What if I screw this up? What if she doesn't like me? What if she doesn't like what I arranged?
I look at the time I still have one minute so I get out of the car and walk up to the door. I wait until the time changes, so I am not a minute late or a minute early. I knock on the door and wait patiently for someone to answer it. Just when I am about to knock again her brother opens the door.
"Hey" I say to him
"Hey, what are you doing here?" He asks
Just when I am about to answer Ads friends Dylan and Blake walk up behind him. "He is taking Addie on a date." Dylan says. I see Blake roll his eyes, what's his problem?
"Jake, who's at the door?" I hear someone yell from upstairs, I immediately recognize the voice as Ads.
"It just me Ads." I yell while walking towards the stairs.
"Shit, umm, I will be down in like 5 minutes I just need to find a pair of shoes to wear."
"Ok." I say and walk over to the couch and sit down.
"Soooo" Jake says while also sitting on the couch. "Look, I am just going to get to the point, I'm her older brother which means I have to look out for her and make sure she won't get hurt, so you arnt just taking her out on this date to get in her pants right? Then leave her with a broken heart? " He asks while looking at me with a stern look. "Oh god no, I would never do that, I am taking her on this date because I really like her, and want to get to know her better." I say.
"That was good, you have my permission to be with my daughter." This older guy who just walked into the room who I guess is her father says. "Thank you, sir."
Addelynns POV
I finally found a pair of shoes to wear so I walk out of my room and head down the stairs, once I am halfway down I hear my mom calling my name so I turn around "Addie, you look so pretty, I heard Blake downstairs, are you guys going on a date?" She asks. "Uh no, I am going on a date with my friend Niall." I say. She nods her head and walks down the stairs in front of me and I walk behind her.
Niall's POV
I hear footsteps coming down the stairs so I stand up and walk to them. I see Addelynn and she looks gorgeous, her hair is curled, and she is wearing an amazing outfit. "Hey" she says and gives me a hug. "Hey" I reply. "Geez, even though I am wearing heels your still taller then me." She giggles, god I love that giggle.
"Well our reservation is in 30 minutes, so we should get going." I say to her. She nods her head and gives everybody a hug and says goodbye and we walk outside. I open her car door for her an she thanks me. Then I walk to my side and begin driving to the restaurant.
Blake's POV
Niall and Addie just walked out of the house and I can't help but feel a little but jealous.
"God, I can't wait until this dare is over, then I can finally ask her out." I say and plop down onto he couch.
"Wow, wow wow, this is just another one of your guys dares?" Jake asks Lisa, Dylan, and I.
"Yeah" I mumble
"Dude, that's so uncool, your just playing with that guys feelings." He lectures us.
Niall's POV
"So where are we going?" Ads asks me while I drive.
"Now that my love, is a surprise." I say and reach over so that I am holding her hand, while the other is on the wheel. I can see her blush from the corner of my eye.
"I like when you blush." I say and blush afterwards cause I meant to say it in my head.
"I like when you blush too." She says.
When we pull up to the restaurant I turn the car off and I quickly run around to open Addelynns door. We walk inside hand and hand and walk up to the lady at the front desk. "Reservation under Horan." I tell her. "Awe yes, right this way." She says while grabbing 2 menus. She leads us to a table that has a candle in the middle of it. I pull Addelynns chair out for her and then sit down in mine.
"No way." I say while laughing at a story Ads told me about a dare she had done once.
"Yes way, and it was the worst experience ever, now I absolutely hate cinnamon." She says while laughing.
We have been talking for hours and laughing. I really like her. It was funny when we ordered the same thing with the same drink, side and everything. "Addelynn, would you like to be my girlfriend?" I ask her. She looks shocked before smiling "I would love to be your girlfriend." She replies. YES! SCORE!
We talk for a couple more hours until a lady comes over and tells us it's time to go because they are closing. I walk back up to the front desk and pay for dinner. "By the way, you guys are a very cute couple." The lady says to us. Ads blushes so I take her hand and she hides her head in my shoulder. "Thank You" I reply then walk out.
