Expect The Unexpected (Half A Heart)

Addelynn's POV
It's Saturday today and I am driving to Starbucks to grab some coffee and a muffin. Dylan, Lisa, and Blake are meeting me there. They are my best friends and I have been friends with them since the 4th grade.
I pull up to Starbucks at the same time as Blake and Dylan (they are neighbors so they drove together). I greet them and we head inside.
We make small talk while we wait for Lisa to show up.
I start talking about this band named One Direction who my little sister couldn't stop talking about, thy were supposedly going to be in our town today and do a CD signing or whatever.
"So, thanks to Aleah I know that her favorite band, One Direction are going to be at the mall today."
Dylan starts laughing "She's still hung up on that band, I can't believe it."
I nod and giggle.
I wait to hear Blake's reaction as I look at my phone, but I look up and see that he is staring at me.
I wave my hand in front of his face and try I get his attention.
"Helloooooo....Blake"
Blake's POV
I stare at Addelynn as she talks, I just can't keep my eyes off of her, she is just to gorgeous. The way her long hair lays down her shoulders, and her beautiful eyes that I get lost in every time I look into them, and her well defined jaw line.
I see her mouth moving but I don't hear anything coming out of it, I just stare at her perfectly plump pink lips and wonder if they are as soft as they look.
She stops talking for a second and laughs then looks at Dylan. I am guessing that she was laughing at something he said.
She then looks at me and says something while waving her hand in front of my face, I get lost in her eyes and don't respond. Suddenly I feel something being splashed on me.
I jump out of my chair and see Dylan's now empty water bottle. Addelynn is cracking up laughing while clutching her stomach cause she is laughing so hard that her stomach hurts. Oh how I love that laugh. She put her hands in front of her face and apologizes, when she had raised her hands her jackets sleeves had went down. I saw her old scars on her left wrist.
I knew that she uses to cut and I was able to convince her to stop. I felt so horrible when I had learned that she did, cause I didn't know why someone as amazing as her would want to hurt themselves. I had gotten her to stop about a year ago, and he hasn't cut since and promised me that she wouldn't.
I glance at her other wrist while she is still apologizing, and I see the last thing I would ever want to see on her skin.....a few fresh cuts.
Then she says "Blake, do you think she will ever get over her obsession?"
I shake my head confusingly and say "Who are you talking about, and what obsession?"
She says "Aleah's obsession with that overrated boy band, One Direction."
I hake my head and say no.
Then Lisa walks up to our table and hugs Addelynn and says "speaking of One Direction they are going to be at the mall today."
Addie makes a disgusted look at the mention of the bands name and says "I know, Aleah hasn't shut up about it all week, I don't know why she is so hung up on those guys, they are nothing but selfish womanizers who only care about themselves."
Lisa looks at me and Dylan and says "I triple dog dare you..."
This makes Dylan,Addie, and myself get on the edge of our seats and wait for her to continue. Addie never turns down a dare, one time we had dared her to jump into the pool butt naked in the middle of December and she had did it without a second thought.
Addie darts getting inpatient since Lisa still hasn't said the dare and says "Well... Go on, what's the dare?"
Lisa corrects her by saying "Not just a dare, a triple dog dare."
Addie puts her hands up in surrender and laughs. When she did that I got another glimpse of her wrists and start to shift in my seat. Dylan gasps loud enough or only me to hear, I look at him am his mouth is wide open he sees me looking then looks at her wrists and back at me with the 'wtf' expression on his face. I nod understanding what he means.
Once Addie puts her hands down Lisa says "Anyways the TRIPLE DOG DARE is for me and you to go to the mall and you have to get a half shirt that has something related to one direction on it, like the logo, and you wear shorts that have the UK flag design on them, along with a jacket with the word directioner on the back, then we walk past wherever they are doing their signing and we make a scene so that they look your way, and since no one can resist you at least one of the guys will walk up to you and start talking to you, and you have to make one of the, fall in love with you, are you up for the challenge?."
Addelynns mouth is hanging open and for a split second I thought she was going to turn down the dare.
"Fine, but we need to start shopping like right now."
"That's my girl, never in her life has she turned down a dare even if it involves her jumping into an ice cold pool, BUTT NAKED!"Dylan says, then starts laughing at the memory I thought of earlier.
Addie sends him a glare and he immediately stops. She smiles in victory and says "That's what I thought, if you wouldn't have stopped I would have came over there and kicked your ass."
Dylan mumbles a 'sure'
Addie asks what he said and he says "nothing my queen."
"Good" she replies. Then she grabs Lisa's arm and pulls be out of her chair and says "Come, let's go shopping, cause I have to dress like some freak who is obsessed with One Dirdufis."
We all laugh at what she calls the band and then her and Lisa walk out of Starbucks.
I watch as she walks out of the store still holding onto Lisa's arm. I just can't take my eyes off of her.
Dylan's POV
Lisa and Addie just walked out of Starbucks and Blake just keeps looking at her.
I turn around to see if my suspicions are correct...and they are, surprise surprise....not. He has been crushing on her since the 4th grade.
"You got it bad, dude." I say
He snaps out of his trance and says "Wait, got what bad?"
I laugh and say " the lovey gubbies (gubbies? Lol) for Addie!"
"Do not" he argues
"Do to." I say
"Do not." He says again
"Do not." I say
"Do to." He says
"See, I knew it you just admitted it."
He thinks for a second and sighs before saying "fine, I do, I just don't know if and when I should tell her, I don't wan to ruin our friendship that's why I haven't told her yet."
I nod and say "I know how it feels, cause I used to like her too, but then I realized that we would just be better as friends."
"But that's the thing, I don't wanna be JUST FRIENDS."
I nod and say "Well either you grow a pair and tell her your in love with her, or you just stay friends."
Lisa's pov
Addie and I just pulled up to the mall, to buy all her 1D accessories that she needs for the bet.
"Does this top look good?" Addie questions while holding up a 1D v-neck half shirt that's white with the logo on the front.
I nod in agreement and we move on to the shorts.
I pick a pair off the rack and they have the uk flag pattern on the pockets, the have rips in them and stop above her hands so they are pretty short. Then we find the black leather jacket and in pink instead of saying directioner it has all the guys last names.
Then we go to the accesories and buy her some 1D earrings, necklace, and bracelets that say "I LOVE NIALL" "I LOVE ZAYN""I LOVE ONE DIRECTION"...(so on for all of the guys.
We run to the cashier and pay for everything.
Then she runs to the malls restroom and changes into the new outfit.
She keeps her black converses on though.
She walks out and I gasp, she looks amazing!!!!
"Ready, to go do the bet?" I ask
"You bet." Addie says
Addelynn's pov
Lisa and I walk up to the malls map to figure out where the lads are at. We find out that they are right outside of Victorias Secret.
"Lisa, it's right outside of Victorias Secret, I know just how we are going to get their attention now." I say
"Ok, how?" Lisa questions
"We are going to walk on the opposite side of the mall that the store is on, so that we will have to walk past the table they are signing stuff ya, then I will start looking through all the bras and panties, and squeal really loud when I find a hot pair, and if it works out how I planned it then at least one of the guys will already be watching me from when we walked past them, then, while I am holding the nice pair of lingerie I will look at whichever guy is staring at me and smile, look at what I am holding and then wink at him, then just walk away, and hopefully they will chase after us."
"Perfect, your going to have them crawling after you in no time."

Lisa pokes me and says "there's the table and all the guys are already there."
Luckily there isn't anybody within 20 feet of the table besides for the bodyguards because the fans are behind the railings.
Suddenly, I think of an even better plan.
I quickly tell load and she says "You are a genius" before running off to where I told her to go. I walk towards Victorias Secret, but instead of going behind the fans, I go in front of them and I am directly in front of the lads so that they can see me.
I see them all look up from their phones when they see someone starting to walk past them, all of their mouths literally drop the ground.
Step 1- Get their attention....check
"Addelynn, is that you?" Lisa says while walking towards me.
I turn around and look at her, the I show off my pearly whites by smiling at her since I can still feel the lads stares on me.
"Yes it is me Lisa, oh my gosh I havnt seen you in forever." I say while hugging her.
She is still following the plan by looking over my shoulder at he lingerie outfit in the Victorias Secret window with her mouth hanging open.
I turn around and follow her gaze to the outfit, and so do the lads. "OH MY GOD" I squeal. " I am so going to get that" I say, and make sure that the lads heard me say that, I can practically hear all of them gulp probably picturing me in it.
I grab Lisa's hand and drag her over to the store.
Zayns pov
The lads and I were filling out some paperwork before we would start the signing. Then out of the corner of my eye I see a teenage girl walking in front of the table, I see that she is decked out in our merchandise, I knew this because I checked her out..what? Stop it Zayn, you are engaged to Perrie, you shouldn't be checking out another women.
I hear another girl say "Addelynn, is that you?" The girl turns around and says "yes it's me Lisa, I havnt seen you in forever." Then she hugs her.
Now I know the girls name... Addelynn, I beautiful name, for a gorgeous girl....Wait, what? Ok I need to stop talking to myself.
I turn to my rightm where all the guys are sitting so their mouths wide open, like I was before, they are all staring at her and looking up and down her body. I laugh to my self before nudging Louis and whispering "You like what you see?" To him. Louis looks at me and gulps before nodding his head slowly.
"Is is bad for me to be checking out a girl, even though I am dating Eleanor?" Lou's asks
I shake my head form left to right and say "No, don't worry I did the same thing even though I am not just dating, but engaged to Perrie, and by the looks of it Liam is checking her out too even though he is dating Danielle."(sorry I had to, I miss them being together)
Louis looks at Liam before laughing and saying "ok"
Then we look back at her and she says "oh my god, I am so getting at." Louis and I follow her gaze and see that she is looking at something in Victorias Secret, we gulp and so do the other guys.
I don't know what the others are thinking, but I am imagining her wearing that outfit.
Nialls pov
I have just been watching Addelynn for a while and continue to watch her while she looks at stuff in a girly store, she looks back at me and smiles before looking back at the outfit she is holding, then she looks at me and winks before walking out of the store with her friend.
I jump out of my chair and run after her. I grab her wurst and turn her around, she punches me square in the nose, probably because I startled her, and I stumble back due to the impact of the punch.
She gasps before saying "You should never sneak up on somebody like that, are you crazy, and I am so sorry."
I laugh while holding my bleeding nose and saying "it's ok, and I see your a fan of my band."
She scoofs before saying "Don't flatter yourself Horan, I for one do not like your band, I spent the night at a friends house and had to borrow some of her clothes, and this was all she had. And I feel really bad for making you get a bloody nose, how can I repay you."
"Whatever" I mumble. Then say "you can make it up to me, by going on a date with me tomorrow."
She rolls her eyes and says "fine, but I am only agreeing because I feel bad."
Then she walks off I stand here in awe before running after her because I need her number. I grab her wrist again, she almost punches me again, but this time I duck.
"For heavens sake, I already told you to stop doing that, didn't you already learn your listen."
I laugh before saying "No, and I came after you because I need your number, so I can tell you the details of out date." I emphasize the word 'date' and she rolls her eyes. Before writing it on a piece of paper and handing it to me.
As she walks off I yell "see ya tomorrow Ads."
Addelynn's pov
I smile to myself because of the nickname he gave me. I can't wait to get this bet do e and over with though.
Harry's pov
I can't get the girl out of my mind, what was her name....Addelynn. I smile just thinking about her, she will be mine someday, I don't know when or how, but she will be.
Niall shows back up at the table with the biggest smile on his face.
Liam asks him why he is so happy and why his nose is bleeding and he says "Because, I startled Ads and she punched me, but it's cool cause now I have a date with her tomorrow night."
I ask "Who is Ads?"
Niall looks at me, smiles and blushes then says "That one chick who walked past us, I call her Ads but her name is actually Addelynn."
My jaw tightens, and I don't know why, can it be that me...Harry Styles is jealous over Niall because he has a date with a girl I don't even know? What... No way....but what if I am jealous, whatever I am pretty sure they won't start dating or whatever, cause I won't let it get that far...cause she is mine, and ONLY MINE!
