[]Maya's POV[] (When she was 16)

I shifted in my seat while I fixed my glasses. I was having lunch at the School's library all alone.

My bestfriend Harry has been avoiding me for four weeks now; I have no idea what ive done wrong but whenever I tried talking to him, he'd give me a glare and the cold shoulder.

I sighed, maybe its because of my braces, glasses or probably all my acne! He is probably embarrassed by me. Oh who am I kidding? Harry would never be embarrassed by me, he even said that to me.

I took a bite of my PB&J as I read "The Geek Magnet". It was a book about a nerd who had a lot of geeks that fell for her. Unfortunately im a Nerd but I didnt have any guys falling for me. Stupid Teen Fiction.

As I was reading the part where KJ finally got to go on a date with the most hottest and popular guy in school (A.K.A KJ's crush, A.K.A the jerk who used her; my phone beeped and I picked it up. It was a text message, from Harry.

Harry: Hey Maya, want to meet up after school by my locker?? Xx

I hesitated; well that was random. First he ignores me then sends me a message with no excuse or apology? Without thinking, I texted back.

Me: Oh, ok i will. Xx

As the bell rang it was time for biology class. Oh the joy!

As the School day has finally came to an end, I went by my locker to get my backpack. As I closed it and turned around, the school halls were suddenly empty.

I got scared but shrugged it off. I walked to Harry's locker, I felt two strong pair of arms on my shoulders, I turned around and it was Harry.

"Hey." He said with that million dollar smile any girl would die for.

"Hi?" I said clearly confused.

"You're probably wondering why I told you to come here," he said as I nodded curiously. "Well, its kind of hard to explain but," there was a long pause "Maya, I am deeply and very in love with you." He said with a serious face

I laughed at him but then stopped, "Oh wait, you're serious." I said as he nodded. Awkward....

He then suddenly started laughing.. What? I was REALLY confused.

A bunch of people came out of nowhere and started laughing with him. I was terrified, what was going on?

"You actually thought I was in love with you?" He said as my eyes were watering. "I can't believe I was bestfriends with you, you're so gullible and pathetic," He laughed "Face it Maya, were not bestfriends anymore, I have better friends now." He laughed as he gestured to his clique.

I was now crying, "You j-jerk!" I yelled at him, but he only just smirked at me.

I ran away from the School building, I missed the bus, I don't have a phone and it is raining. I hate Harry so fucking much.

Someday ill get my revenge Styles... Someday..
