Chasing the Clouds

Harry's P.O.V.
The boys and I have been hanging around El and her friends a lot lately. And my feelings for Rose have done nothing but grow stronger. Im falling for her hard. I can't take it anymore i am going to ask El how to ask her out. So here I stand outside her apartment. Right after I knocked El opened the door. "Hey!" She said. "Hey, can I talk to you it's important." "Of course" she waved me in. I sat down on the couch as she got us both a cup of tea. "So what's up?" "Ok look, i really, really like Rose, but i don't know if she likes me back. I'm willing to take a chance and ask her out, but i don't know how." "Ah! I knew it! Yes i'll help you." i sigh with relief. "How do i know if she likes me like that?" "I know her, she does, and if that doesn't convince you then i have an idea." She says "What?" I say as she gets up from her seat. "Rose has been staying here in my guest room. Since we were in middle school she has kept a diary that she writes everything in. If she likes you i bet it will be in there." "Oh" She runs into the guest room and comes back with a journal. She looks through the pages until she finds the right one. "Ok these are her exact words, 'Oh my gosh, for some reason every time I'm around Harry my stomach does flips and my heart skips a beat.' Oh my gosh she feels the same way!" I was so happy i picked up El and spun her around. "Oh im so happy!" I set her down and then she went and but the diary back. "So, how do I ask her to be my girlfriend?" "Urm" she grabbed my hand and pulled me into her room."Sorry i don't want Rose to walk in and here everything." "Oh ok" " So I think you should suprise her. I'm thinking cover her room in rose petals and be waiting there to ask her, it will be very romantic." I smile thinking of how amazing that would be. "Perfect. I'm going to buy rose petals." I kissed her cheek and ran out the door.

As I wait for Rose to come home i pace in the room making sure everything is perfect, like her. I hear the front door open and close. "Honey I'm home!" Rose shouted. I knew she was talking to El but i imagined her yelling that at me in a few years, then me yelling that when I get home from work. Her making dinner, kids running through the house. Their cute little drawings on the fridge. Me being called Daddy and her Mum. I was snapped out of my thoughts when she walked into her room. She looked at me and then looked around the room and her eyes started watering. I walked over and took her two small hands into my huge ones. "Harry" she choked out. "Look, i have been falling hard for you since we met. I just couldn't take it anymore so, Rose Lee Benson would you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?" I asked looking straight in her eyes. "Absolutely " she said before pressing her lips to mine. She squaeled as i pushed down on the bed.At that very moment one thing was running tjrough my head.......I love her.
