Twisted Wish

Chapter Two

---

Louis

---

Time. We can never get enough time. There is so much I want to do with my career and just to spend time with my family and friends. Of course, I’m being ridiculous. I’m part of a system when we commit. We can not go back. I’m not saying, I am not enjoying this because I have dreamed of being famous my whole life. It’s just some days, I want to not be famous … to have more time with my family and friends from back home. Today was one of those days.

It didn’t help that Harry woke me up. Usually, I wake him up first by running into his bedroom and jumping on his bed. Today, I got a piece of my own medicine.

“Louis! Wake up!” Harry shrieked, running into my room.

I groaned as I hid my face underneath my pillow. Why must the day start this early? It didn’t help that I went to bed late because Eleanor and I had an argument, last night. Nothing too big, I was going to call her to make it up to her.

“Come Lou, wake up!” Harry repeated himself, this time trying to steal my covers away.

“No,” I grumbled, pulling the covers back over my warm body. I snuggled into the bed sheets.

“Lou,” Harry said, his arms across his chest, “You need to get up. We have a couple of interviews about Live While We’re Young and our new album.”
I perked my head up from the bed. “Oh, yeah,” I mumbled.

The thought didn’t register in my head. How could I have forgot about our new single and second album coming out? It was preposterous! My hand flew up and hit my face like the V8 commercial. Could have had a V8!

“Well,” Harry said, “Get movin’!” He slammed his hand down upon the bed, and then he left the room. I could feel the vibrations from the hit. The slam was clearly a warning, if I didn’t get up something terrible was going to happen. And I didn’t want to find out.

Reluctantly, my body peeled away from the warm, comfortable bed. I slid into my bathroom refreshing myself for the long day that is before me. Not long after, I got out from the shower, dried off, and put my clothes on. I blow-dried my hair, don’t want any paparazzi people taking a picture of me with wet hair. Not pretty at all.

“Breakfast is ready!” Harry’s voice had come from the other room.

“Brilliant!” I said, walking out of the bathroom heading into the hallway. To the left, there was the small kitchen where Harry was standing with a chief hat on. “What is for breakfast?” I asked, sitting down in the chair for the counter, or the “peninsula” counter.

“Scrambled eggs with cheese, and,” Harry was franticly gazing around for something, he grinned, “Banana!” He grabbed the banana from the fruit bowl and set it next to me.

“Haz, you know I don’t like bananas,” I wined, like a little child.

“Then, you don’t have to eat it. Or next time, you cook your own food,” Harry replied, pointing his spatula at me.

“Fine,” I said. He turned around to clean up his mess. I started eating with the SpongeBob Squarepants theme song stuck in my head. Thanks, Harry!

Harry placed the frying pan in the sink and washed his hands. “Did you eat already?” I asked, curiously.

He nodded his head. “Yes, I did.”

I went back to eating, when Harry pulled his sleeve revealing a watch. “We got to get going or we will be late.” He stepped over, grabbed the plate from me, and threw it in the sink.

“Hey!” I protested, “I was eating that!”

“Not anymore,” Harry replied, walking to the front door. I rolled my eyes, he such a pain in the butt. I don’t know how I can stand him … or be friends with him.

“You are the worst best friend, ever,” I emphasized on the ‘ever’.
Harry smiled, showing off his pearly-white teeth that make all the girls weak in the knees.

“Love you, too, Boo-Bear,” he declared, holding the door open.

“Pssh, whatever,” I said, acting like I was angry. Before heading out the door, I slipped on a pair of Toms (the best invention EVER made … Wait, never mind, it would be suspenders.)

I walked passed Harry, who closed and locked the door behind him. I was waiting for the lift come, and I got out my phone. I had to something … don’t want to look creepy staring at the wall (psh, like I have done that before).

A gush of air hit me on my left side as I was putting away my phone. Harry had finished locking the door.

“By the way,” I said, “Who is going to be interviewing us?”

“It is going to be Allan Fallet for the 103.7 radio.”

“Are the lads meeting us there?” I asked, keeping my hands in my pants’ pockets.

“Yes, they are,” Harry said, “which we have to be there in ten minutes.”

“Then, I am defiantly driving!” I exclaimed, throwing my arms in the air.

Harry shook his shaggy, curly brown hair. “No, you are defiantly not driving. It will take two days if you drove us to 103.7 radio station.” The way he said ‘us’ sounded like ‘uz’.
I rolled my eyes. “Whatever,” I said, crossing my arms in front of my chest.

Harry’s hands were upon my shoulders. “I promise, you can drive to wherever when we are done.”

“Promise?” I pouted like a puppy wanting human food.

“Promise.”

“Good, I will hold you to it,” I stated, and then the lift came up.

Harry chuckled as we stepped into the lift.

***

“Hello, everybody!” I exclaimed, throwing my hands in the air. Harry and I made it to the radio station with a minute to spare. Quite extraordinary, if I said so myself.

“Hey, Louis!” Liam said, getting up from his chair. Before, I stepped into the radio room; they were gathered around the many microphones upon the table. There was a man with short, dark blonde hair, some people would call it dirty blonde, a thin figurer, and he wore a thin wire-frame glasses on his long, pointed nose. He must be Allan.

“Hello, Liam!” I said, with much enthusiasm. I wrapped my arms around his muscular body giving him a warm-welcoming hug. Man, he exercised too much for his own good. He knew how to make a guy feel lazy.

“Hey, lads,” I stated, giving Zayn and Niall high fives on my way to an empty chair. I reached over the table giving Allan a handshake. “Hi, you must be Allan. I am Louis.”

“Hi, Louis,” Allan said, shaking my hand back.

“Hello!” Harry replied, closing the door behind him.

“What took you guys so long to get here?” Niall declared, gazing at me and then at Harry.

“It was my fault. I slept in.” I took the blame; after all, it was my fault we got here late.

Zayn blinked rapidly. “Wow, Louis Tomlinson woke up late? It must be the apocalypse!” He shook his hands like jazz hands.

“I know! I woke up expecting to get drenched with water or something, but silence welcomed me in the morning,” Harry said, smiling with gratitude.

“Wait, you wake up from getting drenched with water?” Liam questioned, his eyebrow shot up.

“It only happened once because Harry wouldn’t get up. So, I thought the ice-cold water idea was brilliant!” I explained my logic.

Niall chuckled, throwing his head back as well as clapping loudly.

“Alright, lads. We are going to be on air in three … two … one,” Allan counted down, slipping headphones on his one ear. All of us followed pursuit, I slipped on the headphones to hear what was being said on the radio and what we sounded like.

“Good morning, everyone! This is Allan Fallet, and you are listening to 103.7 radio. We have some special guests here today in the studio. Which is,” he had a dramatic pause, “One Direction!” he yelled into the microphone, throwing his hands in the air.

“Hello.”

“Hi.”

“Hey.” Different forms of hellos came from each one of the members.

“How’s everyone doing?” Allan asked, gazing at the boys.

“Pretty good,” Zayn answered, his voice was deep. He probably had just woken up, as well. Not a morning person.

“Awesome,” Liam said.

“Can’t complain,” I replied, shrugging my shoulders.

“Well, that’s good,” Allan said, “I know this interview will not be long because you will be going next door to another interview very soon. But, I want to ask some questions to guys from the fans. I got these questions from twitter.”

I grinned. I loved questions, especially from fans because they think of very smart questions to ask.

Allan grabbed some notecards, on his right, and started reading from it.

“Alright, first question is from Anna Winters from Hatfield. What is the rudest thing a fan or person has asked or told you to do?”

See what I told you? Our fans are intelligent.

“Wow, great question,” I spoke into the microphone.

“Yeah, I agree, um,” Liam said, he scratched the back of his head.

“I got one,” Niall declared, “Someone on twitter asked me how big was my …”

“Balls?” Allan filled in the blank.

“Yes,” Niall replied, he wasn’t for sure if he could say that on national radio station.

“Wow, that’s just plain rude,” Zayn encountered.

“You are telling me,” Niall said.

“Yes, very rude. Does anyone have a story?”

Harry licked his lips. “I guess one would have to be, fan-fictions. The ones on tumblr about me and Louis. It’s very graphic.”

“What girls actually think you and Louis are going out?” Allan asked.

“Yes, and then they write stories about it.”

“Hmph, interesting,” Allan said.

I guess a person can call it that. Don’t get me wrong, I love our fans, plus they have an intriguing imagination.

“Onto the next question. Oh, this question for Harry.”

I let out an ‘oooh’ noise, causing Harry to grin showing off his two dimples.

“This question is from Kasey Williams from Branton. Her question is: Harry, are you single? Because my friend said she saw you hanging out with Emma Watson, a couple of days ago, at Starbucks.” Allan put down his notecards gazing at Harry for an answer.

Harry’s was flabbergasted. He couldn’t talk. Which, met one thing, he did see Emma Watson! But, they were not dating. I would know if he was dating her. Plus, so would the lads.

“You did see Emma Watson!” I yelled, slapping him on his arm, “Why didn’t you tell me!”

“I just ran into her. We had some coffee together, nothing more.”

“So, your answer would be you are single?” Allan questioned to clarify.

“Yes, I am single,” Harry said into the microphone, and then leaned back into his chair.

I registered sorrow and hurt. Harry has wanted a girlfriend for a long time. However, he doesn’t want to rush it because he knows there are girls out there that just want his money or to have the title of his “girlfriend”. I feel so blessed that I have Eleanor as my girlfriend. My eyes grew enormous. Shit! I forgot to call Eleanor to apologize! Oh crap, she’s probably waiting for my phone call.

“Alright, there are two more questions left. Then, you lads have to head over next door. Okay, this is from Rose Washington. She asked: When are you going to be performing the new single, Live While We’re Young?”

“We have an answer!” Niall said.

“We are going to perform this Saturday morning at the Music Hall in Doncaster,” Liam answered, smiling.

“Awesome, can’t wait to hear you perform,” Allan replied. He flipped to the last card.

“Okay, last question is from Sarah McKenzie. Do you guys believe in superstition? Because there is going to be a meteoroid shower Friday night and the legend said if a person wishes upon the one right star. Your wish will come true.”

“I do to a degree,” Niall answered.

“I don’t really,” Harry replied, “Sorry.”

I rubbed my chin. “I have to go with Niall. I do to a degree.”

“Not really,” Liam said.

“Na,” Zayn answered, shaking his head.

“Well, awesome guys. I want to thank you lads for coming in and doing this interview.”

“You’re welcome,” Liam replied, smiling once more.

“This is Allan Fallet on radio 103.7 radio. Bye,” he said, and then pressed a button. He took off his headphones.

“I think you guys should head on over next door. Ryan is waiting for you.”

“Alright,” Zayn said. All of us took off our headphones and heading next door. I was walking with them, in the hallway, and I stopped in my tracks. This is the perfect time to apologize to Eleanor!

I slipped my phone out of my pocket and dialed her number.

“Hurry up, Louis! We are going to be on in five minutes!” Harry yelled over his shoulder, before going into the other radio room.

I bit my lip waiting for a response. The ringing didn’t seem to end.

“Hello.” I heard a velvet-soft voice come from the phone. Oh, I loved the sound of her voice.

“Hi.” I replied, smiling goofy.

I heard Eleanor let out a heavy sigh.

“What do you want, Louis?” she asked, with attitude. Clearly, she hasn’t forgiven me.

“Just please listen me out.”

“Okay, I’m listening,” she replied, with that sass. She’s learned well.

“Eleanor, I called to apologize for me being a total jack-ass. I’m sorry. You are totally right and I’m wrong. Could you forgive me?” I asked. I have four sisters … I know what girls want to hear and what to say to make a girl forgive you.

I heard her chuckle. “You always know what to say, don’t you Louis?”

Her voice had kindness in it. “I guess,” I said, chuckling as well. Didn’t want to seem cocky.

“Plus, you know I can never stay too long angry at you.”

“So, you forgive me?” I asked, pleading.

“Maybe,” she answered, “only if you come to my party Friday night.”

“Tomorrow?” I asked.

“Yes, and then maybe I will forgive you.”

“I will definitely come,” I stated.

“Alright, then. Talk to you later,” she said.

“Bye.”

“Bye.”

I couldn’t grin like a little child who just got candy. I guess this day isn't all that bad ... but I still miss my family and friends. On the bright side, I’m going to answer some more question from our adoring fans!

Notes

I just wrote this yesterday for some reason the website wasn't working on my computer. Oh well, I really hope you enjoyed reading this chapter. It was pretty hard trying to think like Louis. Also, I know that Louis and Harry don't live together anymore, but for the sake of the story. They are going to be living together.
Love you guys! Please tell me what you think of it.
Thank you! :DD
