Can I Have Your Niece For The Rest Of My Life?.
Harry POV
I thought about everything to be quiet honest and this is one of the hardest decision to make, asking someone to be yours forever it is definitely making me nervous. I haven’t slept for nights, I asked if I could meet with her uncle tonight so I could get his blessing.
Hopefully I will get his blessings she means a lot to me, I am fully aware that I am moving fast but I cant live without her. She is my entire happiness in my life when I wake up I think about her, until the moment that I close my eyes.
I told my parents that I do have intentions about marrying this girl so they, already know that my dad of course is against this. I don’t really care because I am going to marry her, in the end this is my life and I shall make the decision on how I marry and spend the rest of my life with.
3 Hours Later
Me: “Mr. Ricardo thank you for meeting me at this moment, I know it is very short but I want to talk to you about something. Your niece and I have been dating for a year, she is my absolute everything I don’t want to ever lose her. So I am asking you for the blessing of marrying your niece.”
Ricardo: “I am speechless but you know what… you are like a son to me I told you that before. She was going through her darkest place again but you came, and saved her from everything. You destroyed all her demons inside her I am very thankful, and grateful that you came into her life. Having said all of that son I know you have to go and pack for your France trip tomorrow, so yes you do have my blessings promise me you will never let her go.”
Me: “Mr. Ricardo I promise to never ever let her go, the reason I am going to ask her to marry me. Is so I can stay with her and make her happy for the rest of her life, thank you so much sir for this blessing a whole weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”
Ricardo: “Don’t call me sir call me uncle because we are a family now, I don’t see her ever saying no to you. Don’t be nervous about that my only advice I can give you, is first don’t move to fast you both are still young. Marriage is a huge thing you don’t wake up the next day and decide, you want to leave the marriage that is not how it works. You will encounter a lot of bumps and rocky roads, so be prepared for that take it slow and steady and no matter what always be there for each other no matter what. Till the last day that my wife was alive I have never let go of her hands, because it was so hard letting go. The last day that she was alive she said ‘let me go baby I must go now, let me rest please I am suffering’. I was in tears letting go of someone you love so much, is so hard that is why son you should treat her like a queen every single day. My niece I know she is not into material things she is more like me, I can see in you that you will not only treat her right but you will also bring her happiness that is why I wish you good luck.”
I gave Ricardo a huge hug I was sobbing like a little child, I hope that my relationship will be as strong as their. I already bought the ring last week so I am extremely happy now and I am feeling hopeful about, the trip to France hopefully she says yes.
