Calum’s POV “Where are they?” Harry yelled with anger “I don’t know!” Luke said with extreme stress. How could I let them do this? They took one of my best friends to a room and strapped him down to interrogate him, but I didn’t know where the room was? I was watching a video monitor and I was ready to puke. Where were Jessica and Ashton?! “You were the last to see them!” Liam snapped “I swear!” Luke screamed back. “How do we know you didn’t take them?” Zayn shouted and Harry punched Luke. I turned away and looked at Michael and he was feeling the same way. I began to get angry and I stormed out of the room and Mike followed me. “Who would have taken them? Michael asked “I don’t know… But I do know Luke didn’t take them” I said my voice getting low at the thought. I hear Niall yell, then Luke scream I run and break the door with Michael’s help. I find Luke with a cut in the side of his face and with no movement. I look at Niall and see he had bloody knuckles. “HEY!! Back off that’s my best friend!” I yell at him “Jessica and Ashton have become like our brother and sister.” Zayn said with a mixed expression of anger and sadness. “We all want to find them” I reassured them “But I know Luke didn’t do it” Ashton’s POV I awoke to the sound of footsteps. Where was I? I opened my eyes but it was blurry, I blinked a few more times and my vision improved. I was in a house… a nice one and I was tied to a pole. I looked up and saw Jack with a monitor in his hand. “JESSICA!” I screamed, “Where the hell did you take her?” “Why do you want to know?” He snapped with sass “Because she is the love of my life, dumbass” “We’ll see” Jack said with a devilish smile. Just then I heard that sound again, the same one that always haunts me. “JESSICA, BABY” I howled “Ashton help me!” she cried back, I pulled and kicked and yelled and finally my hands got free and I ran. I ran as fast as I could to Jessica’s voice. I ran to the door where the voice was coming from and kicked it open. I saw Jessica and a guy I had never seen before walking over to her, I froze, I watched as he picked her up. Tears were streaming down my face, but not hers. Then she looked at me, then at the boy and what happened next shattered my heart into three trillion pieces… She… She kissed him. Like she actually kissed him. And her eyes, they looked happy, like she wanted to be there. Then she looked back at me and she shrugged. I turned and sprinted out the door. I found an office and broke the lock on the door and found our belongings… My phone, my wallet… Jessica’s phone, Jessica’s purse… The one I bought her. I began to sob replaying the events in my mind. But I couldn’t stop, not now, not ever. “Where is he?” I heard Jack shout. “I don’t know! He walked into the room and that’s when I kissed him!” Jessica shouted back I ran, I almost couldn’t see from the tears but I pushed on. I ran outside and pulled out Maps on my phone but I kept walking. I’m… What the hell? How did we get to California? Wait am I close to Connor? He’s like a mile away! As I was about to exit an ally I was in, I felt my body plummet, along with someone dragging my body. No not again. It won’t happen again. That’s when I put up my biggest fight and soon freed myself and started to run to Connor’s house. I sprinted the mile to the front door of Connor’s new house and rung the doorbell franticly. I could hear their voices getting closer. I soon gave up and sprinted to the back and hopped the fence. I snuck up to the back door and picked the lock, quickly locking it afterwards. I then heard footsteps and I heard a pistol load. Oh shit! “Connor! Connor! It’s me!” I yelled “Who the fuck is me, you bastard!” “It’s Ashton!” I replied “No way! Hey bro! What’s up” He said as he rounded the corner and he set the gun down. I gave him a bro hug and he started to ask questions. “What are you doing in LA? None of the boys are here are they?” He asked “No, I was abducted in Colorado” I said “With… Jessica” tears started to fill up “Dude you ok?” Connor asked with urgency “Yeah” I lied “Its uh… It’s been tough” “Dude you were just abducted, I don’t blame you” Connor lightly smiled. Connor is probably my best American friend. He’s always up for a laugh and is so caring. I can tell him about Jessica… Right? “So where is Jessica?” He asked “She’s with Jack” I felt the tears coming. “Who’s that?” He asked “The guy who abducted us” I said my voice getting shaky. “What? We need to go get her!” “No, we don’t, she chose to be there” I said with full tears now. “How do you know?” Connor asked, his voice full of concern “S-She kissed him” I sobbed, “how could I not see it? How could I see that she didn’t love me? I thought she did love me. Did she not see that I loved her? I gave her my heart, but she didn’t care! She smashed it. She crushed it!” “We need to go get your mind off this! I’m meeting some friends tonight, wanna come?” He smiled “Sounds amazing” I smiled back Connor’s POV I needed to get Ashton’s mind off his girlfri- ex girlfriend. I invited him to see the brits and o2l, plus some others. We decided to get together a while back and I figure Ash would be no problem to bring. “I’m guessing you need a new pair of clothes.” I said already getting up to go to my room. “Yeah, that would be great” He said. I pulled a Green Day tank top, knowing that’s Ashton’s style, and some red pants. I walk back out and see Ashton looking at his wallet. I walk up to him and throw the clothes on him and grabbed the wallet. I look at it and see a picture of a beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes… That’s her… That’s Jessica. “That’s her isn’t it?” I asked slowly “Yes” He whispered “Well… C’mon get changed and lets go!” I pushed trying to get him to forget. We’ll see how this is going to go. Luke’s POV 8 shows with out my best friend. We are turning to shit! We’re falling apart, We’re fighting with each other more, we’re all crying almost every night. We don’t know what to do! We put a smile on for the fans, hoping they don’t notice. “Luke!” I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Harry with puffy eyes. He signaled to follow him and I did. I walked into the room and heard a familiar voice. Jessica! “Jessica! Are you ok?” Calum cried “Yeah, I’m perfect!” She laughed. What? “Where’s Ashton?” I asked “Oh, I don’t know and I don’t care” “Where the fuck IS HE” Mickey yelled “I told you I don’t know!” she said “Jessica, where are you?” “If I told you, you’d come get me… Soo” What the fuck is wrong with her? “What is wrong with you?” I asked “What is wrong with you?” Jessica mimicked me. “Jessica!” I yelled “Lukey-poo!” She yelled “WHERE THE FUCKING HELL IS ASHTON,” I screamed at the top of my lungs. “Don’t know, the third day he was here he escaped and we haven’t found him… Yet.” Her voice got low at the end. “But when we do, Jack & Henry say they’re going to make him hurt so bad he’s going to wish he was dead.” My face got pale and I looked at the other boys. Michael looked like he was going to puke along with Liam, Zayn, and Niall. Harry, Louis, and Calum looked surprised. I took the phone and hung up. “I’m calling Ashton” Louis yelled while walking away Louis’ POV I pressed Ashton’s contact and pulled the phone to my ear. Two rings later I heard a voice that relived me. “Louis! Mate?” Ashton said I could tell he was smiling “Hey! Gosh, its great to hear your voice!” I smiled back “Are the others around?” “They’re coming” “Put me on speaker?” “Sure!” I said “Hey! Ashton?!” Michael said “Mikey!” He yelled “Ash!” Everyone chimed “I missed you guys so much! I wanted to call so much bu- but I was scared they were tracking me but then Con told me that Alfie checked my phone and they said that it was ok to call like 5 minutes ago and I called Calum like 3 times, but no one picked up.” We all turned to Calum and he looked pale. “Mate I’m so sorry” Cal said “I’m just glad I’m talking to you guys right now.” “Where are you?” Zayn asked “California” He replied “We’re coming to get you”
