Caught Between Two Worlds

"I just want a nice, easy life. What's wrong with that?"

I was talking to Louis, it's been a week since he saw Sharon. She's out with her boyfriend Harry, while I'm here arguing with my best friend Louis.

He rolled his eyes and ate a piece of my sandwich. I swatted his hand and he brushed off his hands.

"Well, how come you never told me you had a twin sister"?, he said matter-of-factly. I sighed and got up to go to the kitchen. Rinsing off my glass in the sink, Louis stopped the water.

"Hey!", I yelled at him. I dried my hands and turned his way annoyed at him now.

"Tell me the reason you never told me that you never had a twin"?, he said almost whining. I chuckled and tucked a loose strand of red hair behind my ear. Ignoring his request, I pushed him out the door saying a fellow 'goodbye'.

Laughing and walking into the living room, hearing the door open in walking my sister and her boyfriend.

Quickly covering my face with the sheet my mom washed yesterday.

"That was the best movie ev- Uh", she said probably seeing a body covered up with a cover. I heard footsteps go into the kitchen, uncovering my face and fixing my hair. Seeing Sharon come into the room, with a nervous face.

Biting her nails which she does ever soo often.

"Hey, Shar it's ok. He's gonna find out somehow. Don't worry", she calmed down and sat next to me. Turning on the Tv, forgetting Harry was even in the kitchen for a little bit. Enjoying ourselves when the door to the front open along with the kitchen door.

"Jemima, Sharon I'm home", we turned to the door and saw mom and Sharon saw a confused yet angry expression on Harry's face.

Mom moved from the door while Harry stormed out of it without looking back.


"What have I done"?
