Caught Between Two Worlds

"I knew you wouldn't be able to see it through."

I stated towards my mother and sister. I was thinking of putting a pool in the back yard, since it's scorching over here and I need water. It's must faster than driving 4 miles to the beach.

"I just don;t get it. I mean a pool in the back yard? We don't even have room for a barbecue".

My mom stated, while Sharon was looking at me laughing at our whole conversation. Looking over her outfit seeing she's wearing the same floral print dress as me. With white heels and a white cardigan as me.

"Well, what do you think Sharon? Should we put a pool in the back yard"?

Turning my head towards as her while mom did the same thing. She stopped drinking her tea and cleared her throat.

"Sorry Jem, but I agree with mother"

She said sympathetically. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Are you taking her side against me?"

Sharon looked at me and cocked her head to the side, "Well......", she trailed on. I huffed and went up to my room slamming my door.

Hearing a knock on my door, "Go away Sharon"!, I yelled at the door. The door opened and I found my annoying brother, Lucas at the door.

"What do you want"? I spat at him. I'm sorry for sounding mean but hey, I got an attitude.

"Mom said your friends are here" Lucas pointed downstairs where I heard mom opening the door.

I quickly got up pushing him out my way hoping Louis doesn't see Sharon. I kinda never told him I have a twin sister.

"Hi, Jemima", I heard the accent before I saw him. I hid behind the kitchen wall watching Sharon's confused face and Louis talking her up.

"What do you mean? I'm not--"

He cut her off, " Jemima stop playing with me. You know I hate these games", he chuckled stepping closer to her. Sharon stepped back looking kinda afraid.

I stepped from behind the wall and into there views, "Hey Lou", my voice shaking hoping he won't get mad.

He looked at me and then back at Sharon. He was utterly confused, "Soo your Jemima......", his voice squeaking with every word. I nodded before Sharon had anything to say.

"Oh brother"
