SKY'S P.O.V

When I got dragged down I gave up. I couldn't go any longer. I just closed my eyes and went to sleep. But then, I woke up gasping. Zayn pulled me into a hug and what's even more strange? I hugged him back. I didn't want to let go either. And he put me on his back as we swam to an island. Now, were all laying downon the beach overwhelmed by what this flight ended like.

"Sky? You okay?" I hear Harry's voice above me.

"Yea." I say quietly. My throats still a little sore from inhaling all that water and coughing.

"Just checking. You scared us all back there." He says.

"Yea, well, thanks. I'm good. We all just need to rest a bit." I say.

"Yea. Just call if you need anything." He says and walks away.

I sit up and pull my bag over to me. Thank god it stayed on. I reach in and find that everythings wet. Damn. I guess I'm doing laundry? Yea, bad time for a joke. I take everything out which is a couple shirts, shorts and blankets along with my essential stuff like medicines and makeup my phone.

"Oh my god!" I jump in realization.

"Wha-Sky?" Zayn jumps up next to me, alarmed.

"Are you okay?" He asks paranoid.

"Yea. I'm better than okay!" I yell.

"Why?" He asks like I've gone mad.

"I have a phone!" I scream with joy.

"Uh, Sky, not to rain on your parade or anything but, our plane just crashed in the middle of the ocean. We had to swim more than 20 feet to get to the surface. I'm pretty sure all our phones are shot out." He says.

"But thats the thing! I have a life proof case! It's waterproof! Like, epically waterproof!" I yell pulling it out to show him.

"Oh my god!" He screams grabbing it.

I take it back and hit the home button as the screen lights up. I squeal with excitment as I unlock it.

"But the question is, do you have-" Liam starts.

"-any service." I finish, glumly.

"God fucking damn it!" I scream in frustration, throwing the phone towards the island.

I get up and grab my bag, I collect all their bags too and walk to the edge of the trees, putting them into a pile. I walk into the woods and rip a few vines down. I walk back out and look up at the sky. It's around 5:30 now by the looks of it. I find two trees and tie a vine to each end. I hang up all our clothes and blankets along it and go back to where the guys are.

"Alright, I hung all our stuff to dry. Who knows how to make a fire?" I ask and Liam raises his hand.

"Okay. I'll get the stuff you need, Two of you come with and help." I say. Zayn and Niall stand up for that.

"And you two" I point to Harry and Louis, "find some food. Any kinds of fruits, animals, anything. It can be lizards, snails, berries. Just something to get food in our system." I say as they nod.

Zayn, Niall and I go into the woods and gather wood and anything flammable. Igrab a few rocks and vines incase he needs those to start the fire. We take it back out to him and he starts his work. Then, I take them two back into the woods.

"Lets get things to make a temporary shelter. Jst something to last us tonight and possibly tomorrow night." I say and they nod.

"Like what?" Niall asks.

"Long pieces of wood, palm frawns are always good. Anything that will keep us covered." I say.

We get a bunch of wood, vines and branches with leaves. Once we have enough for the 6 of us we go back out to the treeline. I find a pretty good spot to build it in a little cove-type area. I build the shelter, Zayn lifting the wood and me tying them together along with the braches and frawns on top. We made it simple. Just slanted with two sides covered and a little in the front covered. It's tall enough for them to stand up and have a couple extra inches so we can have a fire in it too.

"Hey." I walk up behind Liam.

"Hey." He smiles.

"Nice job." I say observing the fire.

It's getting pretty dark now so the ambers look like little fireflies everywhere.

"Sky. Is this good?" Louis asks, walking up with Harry.

They unfold their shirts down, showing the berries and greens in them. I look at them and nod.

"Yea. I'm gonna go get some meat though." I say walking into the woods.

I find some lizards and little critters, folding them in my shirt, wlaking back to the group.

"Alright, I got some protein." I say.

I put them in a pile, thank god I killed them back there 'cause now I gotta go back. I totally forgot to make somehting to cook them on. Yea, I'm an idiot, I know.

I go back in and grab a bunch of sticks and vines. When I go back out, I tie the sitcks together and lay it across the fire. I put each lizard and creature in a line across the wood. I take a longer stick to turn them and cook them.

"Guys! Look!" Zayn calls from the water.

I get up and walk down there.

"What is it?" I ask getting closer.

"A couple bags washed up." He says dragging two behind him.

I run down and grab the other and run back up.

"Look! Bags! The must've washed in with the current." I say putting it on the ground and opening it.

"So within the next few days we should get even more." I say happily but then it turns to sadness.

Thats means we're gonna be stuck here for god knows how long. What if we never get found? I can't live on desserted island with my enemy and his 4 friends. But, who knows. Maybe someone will find us tomorrow. They probably have a bunch of people looking for them anyway. They are famous.

"You okay?" Niall sits next to me.

"Yea. I just feel bad for my brother. He's probably freaking out. It's always harder when a twin loses a twin." I say.

"You have a twin?" He asks.

"Yea, Justin. He left with our mum last week. I wonder if he knows that the plane crashed." I say in worry.

"I'm sure they put it all over the news now. The plane had to have gone off the radar at some point and people are bound to have found out." Liam says.

"Yea. I guess you're right." I say spinning the food over the fire.

"Food's ready." I say taking it off.

"Good. I'm starving." Niall says, drooling.

"Oh god. That's right, you're the hungry one. I don't know how you're gonna survive." I groan as they all laugh.

I divide the meat up evenly along with the berries and greens. I did cook the greens a bit so it doesnt taste like we're eating grass. I hand them theirs on big rocks and we all eat.

"I feel like a caveman." I blurt out and they all fall in laughter.

"It's funny cause you look like one too." Louis says jokingly.

"Shut up meany." I laugh.

"I need to pee." I say, getting up and walking into the trees.

I go into the woods and do my buisness. I decide to snoop around the woods a bit. Theres a bunch of vines and little shrubs everywhere. The trees are beautiful though. I go back out to the boys.

"We should get some sleep." I say walking past them to the shelter.

They come in and we all lay down. Zayn lays next to me. I feel his arm wrap around my waist and I just roll and face away from him.

"Goodnight guys and Sky." Liam says.

"Goodnight." We chorus.

"Goodnight Sky." Zayn whispers and mumbles something after but I didnt understand him.

I have a bad feeling this is going to be what I call home for a very long time.
