Stranded

"Guys! Guys!" I yell, falling down. I finally found my way back to the camp after a while. They all come out and help me to the shelter.

"What the hell happened? You were gone all night. Where's Sky?" Harry asks, worried.

"I-I don't know. I heard Sky screaming for help and I went back and saw her caught in a spring noose trap. I got attacked and knocked out. We were taken to this place. It was like a-a little village. I don't know. We were in cages and she got dragged out. Some guy had her and she got me out. She told me to run. So I did." I admit. Sam comes over and places her hand on my shoulder.

"Where is the village?" Luke asks angrily. He furrows his eyebrows and curls his hands into fists.

"We need a plan." Liam says to him.

"I have a plan. Rip all their heads off one by one." He spits.

"A real plan, you idiot." Liam says. We all look at him expectantly.

"Why is it always me?" He whines, "alright." He goes over the plan he made in his head.

"Got it?" He asks and we all nod.

"Zayn. Lead the way." Harry says and I make my way into the woods and follow the small trail I left. Finally we make it to the village and we hide behind some bushes.

"Alright. Everyone's clear on the plan right?" Liam checks.

"Yea." We all whisper. He nods and speed walks to another bush a little farther away. Then Luke does the same. Liam gives us the signal and we run out. We charge straight for the two men in front, knocking them right out. Luke and Liam go to Sky, who's hanging over a fire. Were they going to cook her?

"Alright! Let's go!" Liam calls out. I look back at him for a split second and one of the men grabs me from behind.

"Get off!" I say through gritted teeth. I turn to face him and my knuckles collide with his cheek bone, making a loud cracking sound. He stumbles back but regains his balance quickly. He storms towards me and pulls out a knife. I block his arm with mine but he's too strong. The knife gradually makes its way towards my chest. I push as hard as I can against his arm but it doesn't stop. It keeps moving towards me. I can feel the metal against my shirt as it pierces my skin. I scream out in pain as it goes deeper and deeper into me. I finally push him away and he comes at me, full force, knife ready.

"Zayn!" A blood curdling scream comes from my left. My head snaps to the direction it comes from and I see Sky running towards me. She tackles me to the ground just as the man comes at us, tripping over our bodies. I lay there, staring into her blue eyes.

"Thanks." I say and she smile, standing up. I get to my feet and brush the dirt off. I pick the man up and grab the knife out of his hand.

"Stay the hell away from us. If I see you again, there won't be a next time after that. I'll be sure of it." I growl, holding the knife to his neck. I throw him to the ground and he stays there.

"Sky?" I look around for her.

"Over here." She says, moving a large stick, blocking a door.

"What the hell are you doing? Are you looking to get killed?" I run over to her, pulling her away.

"No. There's a woman. She tried to help me but they locked her in here." She says, opening the door. A tan woman comes out and smiles shyly.

"Hello." She says. She obviously doesn't speak English very well.

"My name is Sawan." She introduces herself.

"Thank you. For trying to help me earlier." Sky smiles gratefully.

"Totèle hasn't been himself lately. It's this land. The land is changing us. Be careful." She warns, placing her hand on Sky's shoulder.

"We're camped on the beach. Just East of here. If you need anything, come get us." Sky smiles. They say their goodbyes and we head back for camp.

"Sky! Wait!" I call, catching up to her but she walks faster, leaving me behind.

What's wrong? Did I say something wrong?

Hey :) So I have good news!

I got a call the other day from a talent director. Apprently I filled out a paper a few years ago for acting and modeling. Well, she wants me to come in for an interview today at 6. She wanted to see if I was interested in having a part in a movie. At least be an extra. Of course I said yes. So I'm going in today.

I just hope I don't fall on my way in. Knowing me, I'll faceplant into a wall...
