"Jake! You are beyond dead!" I screamed. Megan, my bestfriend, and my mom laughe hysterically at how childish I was acting over this. "Why would he do this? My laugh is ruined!" I sobbed.
"Allison, your a great singer! Your laugh isn't ruined!" Megan said. We replayed the video of me singing over and over again on youtube.
"3,000 views, Allison!" "That means 3,000 people have heard me sing!?" I yelled. I never sing in front of anyone, not even Megan. "Forget the video Al, you can probably get him to take it down when he gets back home." I exited the video as Megan complained, and logged into Tumblr. Megan and I have completely fell in love with One direction over the past 4 years. We have a whole blog filled with One direction type things.
"Hey Allison, why don't we get our followers to watch your video!?" Megan said excitedly.
"Megan, if you tell anyone, so help me God!"
"ALLISON, COME DOWNSTAIRS YOU HAVE A PHONE CALL!" Mom yelled.
"Hello?"
"Yes, is this Allison Smith?" It's a guy. But he sounded older.
"Yes, it is."
"Hello Allison, my name is Robert Middleton and I'm with Rockstar Management. My company seen the video of you singing an I was wondering if you've ever considered a career in the music industry?" This can't be real.
"I'm, n-no, I haven't. " I managed to say.
Well, we would like to offer you a career in music! You have an amazing voice! We haven't heard a voice like yours in quite a while! Rockstar is looking for their next big thing and we have a feeling it's you! Can we set up a meeting? We can't wait to meet you and get started!" He rambled on.
"How do I even know if this is real Mr. Middleton?"
"I know this is a lot Ms. Smith, but we have worked with many artists, including Katy Perry! Yes, they have moved on from us. But we are like a starting label. We help unknown talent find stardom and then they normally sign with bigger labels later one. Can I get some information from you to move forward with the process?" He took my information and told me he would soon call with more details.
"Mom, what would you say if I told you I wanted to sing professionally?"
"I'd be more than shocked, but would completely support you. Why?"
"Rockstar Management called and they want to sign me immediately."
Her eyes widened as she sat their speechless.
