Dark vs. Light ☆on hold ☆

I bought my book and was walking to the diner were Jess and Rachel had texted me to go meet them, it was 10 blocks north from where I was and since it was getting dark I had to walk really fast because this place was dangerous, it wasn't like Aurora the small town where I came from.

It was really dark so I took out my pepper spray the one my dad had given me for my 18th birthday from my purse.He was the chief of police in my town aurora. I was about 5 blocks near the diner when a group of boys who looked really scary were passing by. I silently prayed they wouldn't spot as i hurried my pace. I guess today wasn't my lucky day, they had noticed me and i clenched onto the pepper spray with my dear life.

"Hey baby" one of them said now walking in front of me blocking my path."Wanna come have a little party with us.''His breathe had a strong disgusting smell of alcohol.

''N-No thank you, I'll just be on my way" I tried putting a hint of confidence in my voice but it came as a choke. They all laughed hysterically.

"No your going to stay right here with us." Suddenly one of them grabbed my arm and covered me with his body, I started screaming and he covered my mouth. I felt even more helpless when they took away my purse taking my pepper spray with them. The guy they I presumed was the leader of the gang laughed, "O oh guys look she was going to pepper spray us". They held me down while the leader straddled me, unzipping his pants. Oh my god, he is really going to do this here?of all places, in front of his crew. . . Before i had time to contemplate the action I was going to use to defend myself.
