Harry's POV

I couldn't let Kristy go on that date.

No matter what it took, I was about to do anything humanly possible to stop this date from happening.

I was pulling at all the strings I had today just for this.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" Louis asked as we all got ready and made a coffee to wake ourselves up.

"It has to work." I responded truthfully.

I picked up my phone and dialled Kristy's number for about the fifth time but she didn't respond so I reluctantly assumed she was still getting ready.

Then I called Niall to confirm if she was still at home.

"Is she still there mate?" I asked impatiently.

"Yeah she is. Ashton left about an hour ago and I already took care of her tyres as soon as her parents left."

"Perfect."

I gave Niall a few more instructions before I said goodbye and got ready to come to the rescue for my beautiful damsel in soon to be distress.

Once I had myself ready, I went outside to make sure my car had the perfect amount of gas in it for our plan to work.

My phone beeped and I looked down to see a message from Niall letting me know that Kristy had seen her flat tyres.

I smirked and dialled my girls number again.

"What the hell do you want?" She snapped as soon as she answered the phone.

"Well good morning to you to sweetcheeks." I laughed as she huffed at me through the phone.

"I've told you not to call me that Harry, now want do you want? I don't have time or am in the mood for this." She grumbled and I couldn't help the breath in my throat that suddenly seemed to be stuck.

"What's wrong?!" I asked and had to choke back the pet name that nearly slipped through my lips.

"My tyres are flat and now I won't get to the movies in time!"

I could almost imagine the cute little pout that would be on her lips but ended up rolling my eyes at the fact that it was caused by her lack of making it to her date with Ashton.

"Harry I'm serious! And why the hell am I even talking to you? You've been ignoring me!"

I felt so bad about ignoring her but I couldn't let her find out that I was planning to ruin her date and so far everything was going good.

"Aw I'm sorry Krissy."

She huffed once again and I smiled at the fact that she hadn't corrected me for calling her that.

After a while of silence, I was afraid she had hung up on me so I pulled the phone away from my ear but it looked like she was still on the phone.

Just as I pressed the phone against my ear, I heard her much quieter now voice say something I was praying I would hear.

"Can I ask you a favour Harry?"

I took a lot of pride in the fact that she now had the courage to ask me things, she was starting to warm up to me in a friendly way.

And everyone knows what comes after friends.

"You know you can." I replied simply and she let out a deep breath.

"Can I have a ride to the mall?"

It was the one question I was waiting for her to ask, the one key question to my plan.

I was already standing next to my car and had unlocked it so I didn't even need to think about my answer.

"I'm on my way."

*2 hours later*

Everything was how I had planned it to be.

Zayn had caused major traffic on the main roads and Kristy had asked if I knew a short cut.

She was falling right into the plan and although I had told her I knew a short cut to the mall, I lied.

It wasn't a short cut at all, it was the back streets of town where barely anybody came these days if I checked the gas right, we were about to ran out right about...

Now.

Kristy huffed and leaned closer to me to see that we had run out of gas.

There was a small part of me that just wanted to wrap my arms around her while she was close and pull her onto my lap and kiss the hell out of her, but I had to play it off cool.

Eventually she spoke up up making me jump at the loud sound of her voice.

"I can't believe you fucking got us lost Harry!" she snapped and angrily slammed the car door as she got out.

I quickly scrambled out of the car because despite the fact that I planned for us to be here, I didn't feel comfortable with Kristy being outside of the car alone.

"I said I was sorry! Niall told me this was a short cut!"

She scoffed and held her phone above her head like she was trying to get a signal but judging by the look on her face, it wasn't working.

"Did you purposely run out of gas next to a spooky forest edge?" She whispered and shivered causing me to walk closer to her.

It wasn't very often that Kristy showed much weak spots but I'm guessing anything dark and spooky looking will do it, like the scaring movie we watched together and now the forest.

"Just please get back in the car Kristy." I begged knowing that I could comfort her if she simply got back into the car.

She just glared and let her shoulders slump like she had given in to the defeat.

I slowly walked even closer to her and she attempt to stumble away from from me but just ended up backing into the car.

"I am really sorry." I lied as I whispered in her ear and trapped her in between me ad the car but was still careful not to crush her.

"No you're not."

I smirked at her words, she knew me too well to know that I wasn't actually sorry about her missing the lame date.

But I was sorry for making her scared.

"I am." I said again slowly and could feel my brain clouding over as I looked in her warm doe like eyes.

They were such a pretty hazel colour.

"Prove it." I managed to hear her say and didn't even think about my next action.

I kissed her.

For the first time ever, I kissed her right on the lips.

And she wasn't attempting to push me away.

Then she started to kiss me back.

I may have been the bad guy today and done some things that she would not be happy about if she found out but at the end of the day,

I won.
