Harry's POV:
'Alright so any other ideas?' Louis asked as we continued to think. 'Harry, is there anyone you've had a fight with recently?' Niall asked. 'Uhm…not really' I answered trying to recall recent events. 'I just thought maybe the kidnapper is trying to get back at you and is using your children as bait' Niall explained his theory. 'Dude, you watch too much CSI' Louis let out a small chuckle. 'Hang on Louis, he could be getting at something' Liam suggested.
'Who is this!?!' Sammie's yell caught our attention. We turned around and saw her engaged in a hostile phone call. I ran up to her side as she continued to be engaged in the call. 'What do you want??' she asserted.
'Wait!' she shouted in a plea. 'Hello!?' she called out. 'Hello?' she repeated. She looked on the screen and realised that the caller had hunged up.
'Babe who was that??' I asked in desperation. 'I don't know…' she replied in a soft voice. 'But Harry he has our children' she came crashing into my chest and cried softly. I wrapped my arms around her and placed a kiss on her head. I myself was lost for words to comfort her. Sometimes action speaks louder than words.
DING DONG! DING DONG! The doorbell rang.
'I'll get it' Niall walked out of the lounge. He came back shortly with Jack. 'So I've checked Lauren's record' he informed us. Sammie slowly pulled away from my arms. 'Huh? Wait, what's going on?' she looked around the group confused by the information. 'Babe, I got Jack to do a check on Lauren. I thought maybe she may be involved in this… as a way of getting back on us. It's the only personal grudge I could think of, if this wasn't a random kidnap' I explained. 'But she left the country 2 days ago…' Jack added.
'So it couldn't be her?' Louis asked.
Samantha's POV:
6pm
All day I've kept my phone with me waiting for the kidnapper's next call. I checked my phone and it's now been 6 hours since the call. I had so many questions crashing through my mind, like how did that guy get my number? Who is he? Why is he doing this to us? I continued to gaze out the window as night began to take over day. 'Honey' my Mum's voice caught my attention from behind. The company in this household has grew since we've receive the anonymous call. Harry and I's parents and the girls have now joined us in this quest. 'You haven't eaten all day, come on your Dad cooked your favourite' Mum gave me a smile which was contagious. I gave her a small nod with a smile. She wrapped her right arm around my shoulder and accompanied me back in the lounge where everyone dine with Dad's cooking.
RING! RING! Silence fell as the phone rang. Everyone's attention was on me.
RING! RING! Harry came to my side as I I took my phone out of my back pocket. The caller was an Unknown number. I looked up to Harry before answering the call. I pressed my thumb against the green button and placed the call on speaker.
'Hello' I answered in a shaky voice. 'I want my Mum!' the a familiar little girl's voice cried out loud while the kidnapper maliciously laughed. 'TJ…'I uttered softly as I heard my daughter's frightened voice. 'You sick bastard!' Harry yelled onto the phone 'Don't you fucking hurt them or I'll kill you when I see you' Harry raged.
BANG! A gunshot was released which caused an echo of gasp in the room.
'DOOOOON'T' I yelled petrified for my children's lives.
'You don't get to make the orders here Harry' the man teased with a giggle. 'I have your children, so I GET to say what I do' he spoke with authority.
'Don't hurt them please!' I begged in tears.
'Of course I won't hurt them, I'm only going to hurt one' he answered with a scornful laugh.
'Wa-ahht' my voice trembled in fear.
'Mummy, which twin should I kill first?' the man taunted.
'Stop!Stop!Please don't!' I begged and cried out loud. Harry took the phone from me and continued to deal with the stranger.The man holds our children's lives, we had to succumb to him and his demands. We had to play by his games.
'What do you want?' Harry suppressed his rage and negotiated with the man.
'500 million......'the man divulged his price.
'..for EACH child' he clarified.
'WHAT' I shouted in shock of the price.
'I knew it....even celebrities are tight on budget right?' he chuckled.
'Soooooo......I guess you can only save one child....oohhwwww how sad' he pretended to sympathise.
'Now will finally find out who the favourite child is' he taunted.
'Beep,beep,beep,beep,beep' he hunged up
'Wait, wait' I called out.
Harry's POV:
3am
My eyes opened and the clock beside the bed had just clicked over to 3:00 am. I turned to face Sammie but was greeted by an empty space. 'Sammie?' I rubbed my eyes as I sat up. I got up and went in to check the bathroom. She was nowhere inside but the clothes she slept in were on the floor. I ran out of the bathroom to the window and found that her car was not on the driveway. I began to panic.
'Please don't do something stupid, please don't do something stupid, please' I muttered as I grabbed my phone to call her.
RING! RING! I turned my head to the bed and there it laid was her phone. 'Oh no' I sighed as I ended the call.
'Where could she have gone?' I wondered as I sat on the bed. 'Oh Sammie what's running through your head..' I buried my head in my hands as I tried to think. I looked back up as a thought came to my head. I looked to my left and grabbed her phone of the bed. 'Maybe just maybe' I thought as I unlocked her phone. I checker her messages to see who she last spoke to. But there was nothing suspicious about her messages, her most recent message was from her Mum saying that they'll be back in the morning to help look for the twins. I went back to home page and checked her recent calls.
My eyes grew wide in nervous as the most recent call was from an Unknown number. '48 minutes ago, duration of call, 10 minutes' I stood straight up in panic.
This could be the kidnapper.
