Samantha's POV:
'Where are they??' I hugged Perrie as soon as she opened the door. She rubbed my back to comfort my state of distressed.

'I must warn you tho, your going to be shocked by a lot of things' she informed me in an unpleasant tone. We pulled away from the embrace and she led me inside the house.


The sound of morning cartoons echoed from the lounge room. I followed behind Perrie as she led me in to the room. There they were, my precious children. They still looked as perfect as I left them....but I knew behind the facade they were burdened from what happened; probably confused and curious.





'Taleiah, Jacob look' Zayn informed them of my presence.

'Mummmy' my children gasped. Their smiles lit up the room like a Christmas tree during Christmas morning. They jumped off the couch and raced each other towards me. I bended down the floor and they ran into my arms. 'Mumm' JM and TJ cheered as they wrapped their arms around my neck and rested their heads on my shoulder.

I closed my eyes as I held them in my arms never wanting to let them go. It felt like we've been separated for years and nothing during that separation could fill the love and joy this embrace could provide me with.

A tear dropped slowly escaped my eye and Its warmth rolled down my cheek. I quickly wiped the tear away before my children could see it. I placed a kiss each on their foreheads then moved my head back to meet their gaze.

'Mummy's here now' I flashed them a smile.

'Mummy I don't wanna go to Lauren anymore' TJ had a frightened looked across her face, as she creased her eye brows and shook her head.

'She's mean to us mummy!' JM informed me.

'What does she do to you?' I asked him as I placed my hand on his shoulder.

'She takes our toys' TJ interjected.

'She always yells at us and says bad words' JM added.

'She hurts us' my eyes widened in shock as the words left TJ's innocent mouth. I turned to Perrie and Zayn in disbelief and they gave me a reluctant nod. Perrie walked up to TJ and knelt down beside her. 'Taleiah can you take your jacket off for me sweetie?' she asked her. TJ unzipped her jacket and Perrie helped her removed it.




I covered my mouth speechless by the sight right before my eyes.

My daughter's arm was inked with dark purpled circles. I reached out for her injured arms and the feeling of anguish overpowered the rage I felt towards Lauren.

Before I could even utter a word to express my feelings towards my child's injuries, another blow knocked me off my feet. 'She said that we were a mistake and that you wanted us to die' TJ revealed.

'What....' I muttered under my breath, shocked by the continuous revelations that came without a halt.

'She told us that Daddy doesn't love us...is that true Mummy? Is that why Daddy and her were kissing?' JM asked. I didn't know how to respond to my children's questions or yet explain to them what happened in a way they would understand but still refrain to portray their dad as a bad guy.





RING! RING! A call interrupted the tension in the room.






I looked over and saw Zayn pulling out his phone out of his pocket. He uttered a sighed and in that instance I knew exactly who the caller was. We exchanged a glance before he retrieve the call.











'Haz...' Zayn left the room.
