'Uuuh that looks nice' Zayn came in the kitchen when he smelt Perrie's freshly baked muffins. He was about to take one when Perrie slapped his hand away.

'Not yet' she told him.

'Come on I'm hungrryy' Zayn whinged. Perrie rolled her eyes and went to take one of the muffin. She stood infront of Zayn and feed him. He took a bite while he kept his hands wrapped around her waist.

'Mmmmm' Zayn muttered as he munched the food around his mouth. He gave Perrie the a thumbs up as he swallowed.

'That was nice' he moved closer to her and pressed his lips against her. 'But you lips are better' he lifted her up on the bench top and she let out a giggle. The two made out until something caught them by surprise.


DING!DONG!DING!DONG!


Perrie jumped down the bench and went to open the door while Zayn stayed back and took another muffin. She opened the door and became deeply distressed by who stood in front of her house.



'Aunty Perrie' Taleiah cried out loud as she hugged Perrie.

'Taleiah!? Baby what's wrong??' Perrie kneeled on the floor to meet the child on an eye level.

'Where's Lauren? Where's your Dad? Did you come here alone?' Perrie wiped her God-daughter's tears. Taleiah didn't respond but instead continued to cry in her Aunty's arms. Perrie stood back up and carried the girl inside her house.



'Babe, who is it?' Zayn called out as he came in the lounge. Perrie turned to Zayn with a worried expression.

'Taleiah' Zayn went to seat on the other side of her.

'What happened? How did she get here?' he asked Perrie but she shrugged her shoulders just as oblivious as he was.

'Taleiah....can Aunty Perrie ask you some questions?' Perrie rubbed the child's back. 'Did you tell your Daddy or Lauren you were coming here?' the girl shook her head as she kept it down.

'You came here by yourself sweetie?' Taleiah gave a faint nod. 'Did something bad happened at your house? Did you get into trouble?' the girl didn't respond but instead continued to cry again.
Zayn left the room to go and get Taleiah water while Perrie took the weeping child in her arms. Taleiah covered her eyes as she sobbed.

'Sweetie, drink some water' Zayn offered her a cup. Perrie took the cup and brought it up to the girl's lips. The child drank the water which helped calm her down. Taleiah rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and her crying ceased.


'Aunty Pehwie' she finally spoke.

'Yes sweetie?' Perrie stroked her face.

'Was I mistake?' she looked up to Perrie for a respond. Perrie looked across to Zayn in shock of the young girl's question.

'Taleiah what are you talking about?' Perrie muttered confuse by the child's knowledge of such things.

'Did my daddy want me when I was a baby?' the girl asked. Zayn and Perrie were left spechless. They didn't wanna lie to the kid but at the same time they weren't in the position to explain to her the past and they thought as well that she shouldn't have to know about it, especially at such a young age.

'Sweetie' Perrie finally spoke. 'Your daddy and mummy loves you very, very much okay. That's all that matters' she assured the child.

'I wanna stay here Aunty Perrie' Taleiah told her. 'Don't make them take me' she shook her head really fast. 'I don't wanna go home' the girl pouted.




'Okay sweetie' Perrie nodded.

'You promise?' Taleiah looked up to her.

'I promise' Perrie flashed her a smile. 'Aunty Perrie made chocolate chip muffin' Perrie told her in a hope to up lift her mood. The child's eyes twinkled and out spread across her face was the beautiful smile Perrie was used to seeing in her God-daughter's face. Zayn and Perrie let out a smile in relief to see the child smiling again.

'I'll just go get you some' Perrie gave her a kiss on the head and left.

'Taleiah, why don't you watch some cartoons' Zayn turned the TV on and put it on disney channel. 'I'll be right back' he followed Perrie into the kitchen.







'Babe, we should call Harry' he told her as she took a muffin out of the tray.



'NO!' Perrie uttered sternly. The two stood in silence surprised to have found themself in an argument.

'His probably worried' Zayn guaranteed her.

'She wouldn't have run away, if they took better care of her' Perrie continued to prepare Taleiah her food.

'He needs to know that she ran away!' Zayn raised his voice a little.

'Zayn!' Perrie snapped at him. 'Your not going to tell Harry she's here!' she ordered him.
'But he'll be looking for her!' he asserted.

'If you tell him, he'll come and take her and I made a promise to her and I'm not going to break that' she took the plate and went back to the lounge.

Zayn heaved out a loud sigh. He knew that his wife was too emotionally attached to Taleiah but he also knew that it was wrong from them to hide this from Harry.



RING!RING! RING!RING! Zayn took his phone out and uttered another sigh.



'Hello' he answered Harry.

'Zayn, TJ's missing, Lauren called me she said TJ's ran off and I've been driving around the block and I can't find her, can you help me search, I'm scared that she-' Harry was in great distress. Like any parent would be to find out that their 4 year old is missing.

'She's here...' Zayn divulged to him

'WHAT! Oh Thank God!' Harry sighed in relief. 'I'm coming there now' he told Zayn.

'Wait Harry, Harry!...' Zayn tried to talk to him but only a beeping tone was heard across the line.




'You told him!' Zayn turned around when he heard Perrie's voice.

'He has the right to know, it's his kid' Zayn approached her in a calm manner, not wanting things to escalate.

'But she doesn't wanna go back there' tears began to fall out from Perrie's eyes. 'Don't you see, she's frightened Zayn, there's something not right happening at that house' Perrie pleaded to him.

'Then more the reason Harry has to come take her, so he can talk to her' Zayn wiped Perrie's eyes.

'I know you love her so much but she's not our daughter' he reminded her. 'Harry has the right to know where his child is' he told her.

'No, Zayn, No!' Perrie shouted as she was reminded of her promise to Taleiah. 'He can't take her, please, please, please!' she pleaded to him.

'LISTEN TO ME' Zayn gently placed his hands on her shoulder. 'She's not OURS!' Zayn asserted. 'She's NOT our daughter' he repeated.

'No, no, no' Perrie pulled his hands off and ran back to the child.




Perrie sat on the couch and cried softly.'Aunty Pewie wahy are you crying? Taleiah wiped Perrie's tears. 'Don't cry' Taleiah hugged her.

'I'm so sorry sweetie, Aunty Perrie can't keep her promise' she told her as she rubbed the child's back.


Perrie heard the door open and she closed her eyes for a moment preparing herself for the moment she had to give the child over.




'TJ' she heard Harry's voice.

'Huh' Taleiah gasped and pulled out of the embrace. Perrie stood up and Taleiah hid behind her legs.

FYI: I had written this chapter months before Perrie & Zayn were announced engaged. And to hear that and have written this before hand just puts a smile across my face :D

Hmm but do you think Perrie had a right to want to keep TJ there? She is after all will be doing the right thing for the girl's sake. Tj's going home or staying? #home #or #staying
