Her Crown

At the Styles residence
It was night time, the children were in their bed drawing on papers. 'Hmm, and now I'm gonna use yelloh' Taleiah looked for her crayon. She laid back on her bed and continued to draw as she kicked her feet in the air.
'Finishhhh!' the girl lifted up the picture she drew of her family. 'Hey, that's mine!' Taleiah argued when Lauren snatched her drawing.
'It's late why are you both still up? Lauren turned to Taleiah then Jacob across the room. 'And Taleiah didn't I say get change into your PJ's' she added without letting either talk.
'But I l wanna sleep in this' the girl refused to remove her princess costume. 'My Daddy says I'm a Princess' Taleiah told Lauren but she just laughed at how naive the child was.
'Sweetie your not a princess..' Lauren took her crown from her head and threw it on the floor. 'Your a mistake' Lauren blurted out, her comment based from 'worthless-entertainment-magazines'. The media eventually found out the true story about Sammie's pregnancy and the abrupt breakup between her and Harry during the time.
'Wa..what do you mean?' Taleiah frowned in confusion.
'Mummy and Daddy wasn't supposed to have you' Lauren pouted in drama. 'They were going to let you die instead' Lauren didn't think to tame her tongue and realise the impact this revelation could have on the kid. Instead her eyes widened at the satisfaction of blurting the truth to the child.
'No! No! your lying your lying' Taleiah refused to believe Lauren's words.
'No I'm not sweetie' Lauren sat next to the child on the bed. 'When Mummy found out she was going to have you and your brother, Daddy told her he doesn't want any of you' again Lauren let out a laugh.
'But, but my Dad-dy says....... he loves me' Taleiah's voice crack and tears streamed down at either side of her eyes.
'Naawww, he does now sweetie but not before' Lauren stroked the girl's hair. 'Okay, stop crying now, come on let's go to bed' Lauren pulled the duvet down and the brokenhearted princess slipped underneath.
'Goodnight' Lauren walked out of the room. She closed the door and took a look at the child's drawing. 'I love my family' Lauren read the writing. 'Pathetic' she rolled her eyes and scrunched the paper.
Little Jacob climbed down his stairs and ran to his sister's bed. Taleiah cover her face with her blanket as she continued to cry.
'TJ don't be sad' Jacob sat on her bed and comforted his sister. 'Here you can have my picture' he offered to her. Taleiah pulled the cover off her face and sat up. Jacob showed her the picture and pointed at each person drawn. 'There's Mummy.....and Daddy....you.... me and Tiny' the boy smiled at his sister.
'Thank you' Taleiah hugged her older brother. Jacob went back to his bed and Taleiah laid back down on her mattress. She pulled her blankie over her shoulders and hugged her family picture underneath the cover like it was her favourite toy for the night.

Despite coming home from a late night at work, Harry still had the energy to check on his children before dozing off to sleep.
The door creaked as Harry quietly opened the door. He walked over to Jacob and fixed his blanket that was only covering his knees. After giving him a kiss he went over to his daughter's bed.
Taleiah laid quietly in her bed pretending to be asleep, something the child rarely did- avoided talking to her dad. However, after the words that Lauren marked on her head, Taleiah didn't wanna talk to her Harry. She still couldn't fully understand what Lauren meant by her as 'a mistake'. All she remembered was that her daddy didn't love her and that he wanted her to die when she was a baby. It was enough for the young girl to keep bitterness in her fragile heart.
Harry turned on his feet and headed for the door. 'Huh?' he looked down to see what he had stepped on. He picked up the crown that belong to his daughter and placed it next to her pillow. 'Goodnight my Princess' Harry leaned down and gave Taleiah a kiss on the forehead. He turned around and proceeded out the room, quietly closing the door.
When she heard the door closed, Taleiah opened her eyes and looked over to the door. 'Daaad...' she mumbled as a tear fell out from her sore eyes.
It was a distraught night for the little princess in her castle.
Harry's POV:
It was breakfast time, the children sat at their usual place, Taleiah on my left and Jacob on my right.'JM you excited for your first soccer training today?' I asked as I buttered my toast.
'YES Dad!' he nodded with food in his mouth.
'That's good' I smiled.
'How's my Princess this morning?' I turned to face Taleiah who has been quiet all morning.
'I'm not a princess dad' she mumbled with a long face as she played with her porridge.
'Of course you are, your Daddy's little princess' I placed my hand on her shoulder and assured her but she remained silent. 'What's wrong sweetie don't you like your porridge? Do you wanna eat something else?' I asked concerned by the way she acted but again she didn't respond.

'Alright, we better go or you'll be late' Lauren came in the lounge were the kids were waiting with their backpacks.
'Bye Dad' JM waved to me and followed Lauren out to the car. Taleiah placed the straps of her backpack on her shoulder and carried her lunchbox by the handle. She ran towards the door but stopped when her lunchbox opened dropping her food on the floor. I ran up and helped her place them back inside. She stood back up when her lunchbox was sealed securely.
'Sweetie are you okay?' I asked as I remained kneeling on one knee. She gave me a faint nod and turned around to head out.
'Wait TJ' I reached out for her tiny hand. I pulled her closer and gave her a hug.
'I love you' I told her as I kept her in my arms.
'I love you too Dad' she wrapped her arms around my neck.

Lauren your wayy out of line! She's just a kid! :'(What more will the the twins endure at the hands of Lauren....
@Wittykitty His so hot! I have to say for Tali I had heaps of options to choose from but finding the perfect guy to play Jacob was a struggle! Like he had to be good looking but not as 'glamorous' as his sister.
