A NEW BEGINNING!

CHAPTER 4: BEST FRIEND TO BOYFRIEND!
Liam’s P.O.V.
Throughout the whole car ride, I can’t stop smiling at how happy I am to finally be home and spend time with my family. It’s been too long to go without seeing them. They are so special and the kind of family that you want to be around all the time. “Well here we are Hannah, school sweet school,” I say chuckling a lil bit under my breath. “Thanks Liam for the ride, as well as coming home on my birthday. You have made my birthday great so far. I don’t know if today could get any better,” Hannah says unbuckling and opening the car door on her side. “Hey, anytime for my lil sis. Or should I say older sis.” She laughs a bit then gets out waving bye to me. I smile waving back to her knowing this day is just getting started for her. Hannah’s P.O.V.
I walk into the high school grounds, going to my locker to grab my history book. I have always hated history but the teacher makes it fun to learn about it. Before I close my locker door, I do a quick hair check in my mirror. Right when I close it, Jakato pops out from behind it smiling really big. “Happy birthday Hannah,” he says pulling a small box out from behind his back. “Awe thanks Jakato, but you didn’t have-” he cuts me off saying.. “Hannah, I wanted to get you something. I don’t want to hear it,” he says smiling handing the present to me. I smile, hoping my blushing won’t show, when I know it already is, opening it seeing a small key chain that says best on a heart with Yoshi holding the heart. I blush a little more looking at him, seeing him smile back with his deep blue eyes showing. “Where’s the other half of the heart?” I ask him looking at the key chain a bit more. “Here it is,” he says, showing me it on his key chain next to a picture of us when we were little. I smile looking at the picture, not knowing he kept it all these years. I look back up to him looking him in the eyes, seeing him blush as well. “Jakato, I love it. It’s so beautiful,” I say smiling really big. “Just like you, Hannah,” he says blushing a bit. I put it on my key chain right away, then I put it back in my purse. One thing that stays in my head at the moment is how Jakato didn’t forget my birthday and how I think I still like him. I was right about to tell him but I freeze up and say something else.
Jakato’s P.O.V
Hannah is so beautiful. I really have not stopped liking her. Should I ask her out today, on her birthday? I don’t know if she still likes me or not. I’m going to give it a try to ask her to be mine. I step right in front of her, trying not to trip her, to ask her. “Hannah, I know I have already asked you, but I really have not stopped liking you. I know it’s your birthday today and I bet it’s going great for you, but it would be an honor to have you as my girlfriend..” I say babbling on not hearing her answer it. “Jakato, Jakato,” she says taking my hand to stop me from talking, which made me blush a bit on the inside and out. I look at her, knowing her answer is going to be a no. “Jakato… Yes I will be your girlfriend. I haven’t stopped-” I cut her off acting before I think what she said. “Hannah, please. I know you don’t want it to ruin our friendship but- wait, you said yes,” I say smiling really big taking a hold of her hand more. I couldn’t think at the moment. Knowing the most beautiful girl in the school is my girlfriend was all I needed in my life. She won’t have to worry about anything anymore. I won’t hurt her or leave her. She is perfect. “Jakato, I was going to tell you that I haven’t really stopped liking today. It was all I could think about yesterday after you dropped me off. Thank you for making my birthday worth a while,” she says, then kissing my cheek, holding my hand walking into class. I’m going to make sure today won’t get ruined for her. Nothing will stop me now, or later.
Hannah’s P.O.V.
I guessed wrong.. Today got way better than I hoped it would. Having Jakato as my boyfriend will help me to not feel lonely and sad anymore. History class just got more interesting, since the history here just did. “Hannah, Hannah,” Mrs. Young kept saying till I snapped back into reality. “Yes, Mrs. Young?” I say hoping I didn’t get in trouble for something “Awesome job on last weeks test,” she says while passing them back to everyone. I just looked at the test, seeing a 100% on it with a smiley face sticker. It may be childish but I love stickers. I smile really big putting it in my binder, waiting for what we are going to do today in class. Before I could go deeper into wondering what we were going to do today, I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Elliot. One of the guys who always messes around in class but still gets good grades. “Here, Jakato wanted me to give it to you,” he says handing me a note. “Oh really? Well tell him I will read it later.” He smiles then turns back around to talk to his friends. They always mess around, but somehow still do very good in class. I didn’t think that would be possible. “Alright class, today is just a homework day. So get out homework from other classes to finish, if it’s all finished you can talk quietly or listen to music.” I smile knowing I finished all my homework. I grab my purse, looking for my headphones. Looked in all the pockets and everything and I still couldn’t find them. Before looking more, Jakato comes up sitting next to me. “Hey, did you read my note yet?” “Not yet, but since I have some time now I will read it. Dear Hannah, I hope you’re having an amazing birthday. I have a bigger present for you later on, I can’t wait for you to see it. One thing I can’t stop thinking about is how you are finally mine. I won’t ever ever hurt you or leave you. You’re the most amazing person I know who deserves the best. I’m glad to call you mine now. Be ready by 6:30 tonight. it’s a big surprise. Is it okay if I call you Hannah bear? I think it really suits you… anyways, you look really beautiful today, well you always do. I really like you Hannah.
