Rachel's P.O.V.

"Rach! Rachel! C'mon we're here, wake up!"

My eyes snapped open and I instantly realised I was in the car.

"W-What?" I mumbled, my voice coming out groggily.

My brother Niall was in the drivers seat, looking highly amused at my tiredness.

"We're at the airport.. The others are already here" he told me.

"Oh.." I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as I spoke.

Airport.. The other boys..

I added it up in my head quickly.

Today was finally the day we would be heading off for the start of their Where We Are tour.

Niall had invited me to come along with him for the first few weeks of the tour due to the fact that we had spent almost no time together lately.

We were heading to Colombia, first. I would only be joining them for the South America part of the tour. From there, they were heading to Ireland, where I would be staying.

I was a tad nervous about going. It was meant to be pretty full on.

And even though I had of course met the other four boys of One Direction, and knew them pretty well, there was still the four boys of 5 Seconds of Summer I hadn't met.

Niall had told me all about them though, and I knew pretty much all of their songs so I was looking forward to meeting them.

There was three other girls coming aswell, which was pretty handy. It was always nice to have some female company when travelling with nine boys.

Harry, Zayn and Louis' girlfriend. Courtney, Raylynn and Talia.

I had met Courtney once before but had never met the other two. I had heard loads about them though from Zayn and Louis so I was eager to meet them.

We got out of the car quickly and headed into the airport to meet up with the other four boys and their three girlfriends.

We would be meeting 5sos out there because they had a different flight.

We checked in and then headed off to the the large Burger King, where the others told us they were waiting.

Eventually, I spotted them. They had pushed two tables together, and were nibbling at the food in front of them.

I felt a little bit nervous when I saw them, all chatting, seeming quite content. What if they didn't want me on tour with them?

Niall didn't seem to notice my discomfort and continued walking up to the table.

"Hey!" he announced our arrival, pulling over a chair for himself.

"Rachel! Hey love, how are you?" Harry got up quickly to pull me into a hug.

I relaxed instantly.

"Okay, so this is Raylynn" he pointed to one of the unfamiliar girls at the table. She was sitting close to Zayn, with his arm slung around her shoulder protectively.

I gave her a wave, which she returned with a shy smile.

"And this is Talia" he continued, indicating to the other girl who was sitting between Louis and Liam.

She jumped up from her seat, coming around to give me a hug.

"It's so nice to finally meet you!" she exclaimed once she pulled back.

I gave her a warm smile in return.

"You too, Louis' told me a lot about you" I told her honestly.

She turned to give Louis a funny look.

"All good things I hope" she joked.

I laughed in response.

"Only the best" I replied.

The nine of us spent the next hour just chatting.

By the time it came to boarding the plane I felt a lot more comfortable with the idea of spending the next month with them.

When we got on the plane, I was happy to find that I was sitting next to Courtney.

"This is it, we're going on tour with One Direction!" she squeled slightly as the plane began taking off.

I grinned.

It was a pretty big deal. I mean there was a difference between just knowing a world famous boyband and actually going on tour with them. It was definitely going to be different.

"And 5 seconds of Summer" I added quickly.

She nodded enthusiastically.

"You like them then?" she asked.

"Who?" I asked back.

"5 seconds of summer! I've only ever met them the once.. They're all super sweet.." she began a long speech about the boys of 5sos and I listened intently.

I really was looking forward to meeting them at this point.

So much so that I spent the latter half of the flight listening to them.
