Lunar Eclipse

Save me

Niamh screamed. Daniel was telling her to run. She didn't want to leave him but she ran anyway. He assured her that he would be fine. She believed him. As she ran she kept looking over her shoulder to see if the wolf was following. It was. But it wasn't the only one. Another wolf was at it's side, running after her also. It didn't look like they were buddies, teaming up on her. It looked like they were rivals running against each other for the prize. And the prize was her.
The tears rolled slowly down her cheeks. She was going to die. Looking over her shoulder once more she saw another wolf behind the two. It's eyes were full of desperation. Full of worry. It was trying to catch up with the two wolves, but seemed to be injured. She looked ahead once more, running faster. She wanted to call Niall and just talk to him. She wished she told Daniel she wanted to go to the park or town or something. Why did it have to be the woods. But Daniel had wanted to bring her to the woods. Was it a set up? Did he deliberately brought her here for a reason? No, no of course not! he wouldn't do that! He told her he liked her, and if he did like her he wouldn't do that to her. He wasn't that type of guy. She didn't know where she was running. All she knew was that she running to save her life.

"Niall where are you going?" Bobby Horan stood up, watching his son pull on a grey cardigan/coat thing and begin to head out the door.
"Niamh's in trouble. So is Daniel. I need to find them"
"But Ni-"
"Bye Dad" Niall rushed out of the house. Bobby raised his hands and dropped them down at his sides, letting out a sigh.
Niall ran down the street as fast as he could. The stars twinkled like precious gems in the deep blue sea. As he ran, images of Niamh kept popping up in his mind. Of her smiling and the next minute lying on the ground. Dead.
'No, no, no. No stop Niall. She's not dead' He sniffed. 'Don't cry. Crying is for wimps'
But he couldn't help it. The wet, salty tears rolled down his cheeks.
He had just turned out of his estate. He didn't stop running. His football training came in handy after all.
The cool air was against his face. Although he was crying, it helped him feel a small bit better.
"Niamh, please don't be dead" He whispered to himself. "Please"
