My eyes were still caught in his gaze to realize what he has just said to me “Louis.” I warned. He smirked at me before flicking a harsh gaze to Robby. Was Louis trying to get a reaction out of him? I tried to pry his fingers from my hand but I couldn’t. “I think you better leave.” Robby said sternly directly to him. Louis didn’t move, standing his ground. I winced as he squeezed my hand tighter. His short hot breathe of air could be felt on the top of my head. Robby took my hand, gently pulling me away from Louis. Louis obviously not liking the way Robby intervened taking me from him. Relief spread through my body as Louis’s fingers reluctantly loosened, allowing me to slip from his hold. “I’ll see you later, Al.” he said giving me a little wink. He turned away and walked out the door. "are you alright?" Robby said while resting a hand on my shoulder. I took my eyes off of the door and looked at him. "yeah thanks for helping me out." I said smiling. ** After Robby came in after his break he had his lips split open and his right eye was all swollen. "oh my gosh Robby what happened?!" I said while rushing over to him. I knew it was probably Louis who did this. "I fell." he said while covering his eye "Rob-" "I fell alright. Your shift is over you can go now." he said while walking towards the bathroom. I went over to the board to clock myself out. I waved goodbye to Sheila and walked outside.  My vans kicked at a stone on the tarmac as I walked down across the parking lot. I lifted my gaze from the ground, my eyes lazily travelling over the vehicles. I didn’t have a car, so I was forced to either get the bus or walk home. I was about to turn my head away when I saw a familiar black truck. My breathe hitched I saw Louis leaning against it I quickened my pace. Then I heard footsteps coming up behind me.  "ALLY!" Louis yelled he was close to enough he grabbed my elbow and brought my body into his. "finally you are off work. Need a lift?" he said giving me a warming smile. Wow an actual nice moment with Louis. "I- don't-uh-um" I stammered "come on I insist." he said pulling me to the truck, he opened the door for me and waited for me to hop in. He lightly shut the door then jogged to the drivers side. The car ride home was silent. We pulled up the house I was about to get out when he grabbed my arm and had me face him. "date later?" he said. I don't see why not I guess I just should go. "sure why not." I said  "alright I'll pick you up at 8." I got out of the car and rushed inside. I ran upstairs and into the bathroom. It was 5 right now. I peeled off my shoes and work clothes and got under the hot water.
