Darker Than Most

I stayed seated in the car twiddling my thumbs, I was just thinking about my mother's reaction and then Louis's parents... I have only met them once and I'm already fucking pregnant. Great thing to bring up the second time you meet them.
"Babe you need to calm down, you'll be alright." Louis said resting his hand on my shoulder.
"It's just." I started, I really didn't know how to finish.
"C'mon babe lets go." He said opening his down. I still didn't get out. He came to my side and opened my door. He held out his hand,
"Babeee.." He started, I grabbed his hand and hopped out of his truck. He smiled at me and said,
"I knew you would eventually get out of the car, I was hoping I wouldn't have to drag you out." He said jokingly. I smiled a bit.
"Loosen up, don't look so tense." He said as he walked behind me and started to rub my shoulders. I let out a sigh of relief, I really was tense and this shoulder rub was definitely helping.
"I can feel you loosen up, that's good because here we go." He said opening the door. Without a hesitation I walked in. I saw our parents in the far corner in the restaurant. My mother waved us over. I quickly grabbed Louis's hand and squeezed it as we walked over there.
"Hey baby girl." My mom said with a huge smile.
"Hi mom." I said kissing her cheek. I walked over and gave Mark and Johanna a hug. Then me and Louis took a sit in between my mother and his parents. The waitress came out with some appetizers and waters. We silently ate our appetizers making small talk about our day. The waitress came back and took our food order. Then that's when I decided to drop the bomb.
"Mr. And Mrs. Tomlinson, mom me and Louis have something to tell you." I said trying hard not to sound nervous. I can hear my heartbeating in my ears.
"What is it honey." My mom said placing her hand on my arm. I looked from Louis's parents to my mom. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breathe.
"I'm pregnant." I said loud and clearly. My mom's jaw dropped open. Johanna and Mark were both smiling.
"Aww congratulations honey." Johanna said giving me a warm smile. I look back at my mother she stood up and walked out of the restaurant. I guess I should go after her. I got up and ran after her catching up to her. I grabbed her arm quickly.
