Binding Rules
Rebel On Fire. (4th Chapter)
Harmony's POV:
.............................
I turn my face immediately, breaking his grip over my wrist. “(I spit in a warning tone) I don’t expect from you to be thoughtful, intelligent, educated, or sensitive. But as a former stranger, you need to have respect for the unknown. (I cross my arms over my chest, smirking to my upcoming questions) Did I show any slight interest in you? Did I seem like the person that socialises with people like you? Did I provide you with any action, which singled you to go on with these rude actions and words?” I wait for him to reply, but he’s too busy maintaining his smile on his face. If only I was the kind of person that favoured violence, I would have slapped him out of his smiling trauma.
“Are you going to reply?” I ask impatiently, tapping my left leg on the ground. Before Mr. anonymous got the chance to reply, Ethan shows up beside me. Ethan is the bar’s head of security, he takes care of stubborn costumers when needed. “What’s the problem, Harmie?”
I open my mouth to reply to Ethan, but the external male beauty talks instead: “Harmie? Is that your name, pretty face?” I look at Ethan, begging him to solve this commotion, and thankfully he nods to my eye contact; understanding what I meant. “(He steps in front of me, towering his large body over the man’s presence) You need to leave. And don’t let me ask twice, because I usually ask a less nicer, the second time.”
The man laughs in a sarcastic tone, shaking his head as if this is entertaining for him. “On the contrary, mate. YOU don’t want me to believe that what I just heard is a threat. Because if so, then god will be your only saviour from my reaction.” Hearing his words, made my spine freeze like an ice sculpture.
Even though he looks the opposite of scary, his words are able to show that hidden side of him. “Is there any problem here?” I didn’t notice we have a bigger group of audience now; four men show up all of a sudden. They stand beside the anonymous man, confused on what is erupting at the moment.
“(I whisper in his ear) Let it go. I’m fine, just please walk me back to the counter in case?” Ethan looks at the man and his group, then at me; probably hesitating whether to leave or to proceed. “Only for you, Harmony.” I flash a kind smile at the middle-aged man, as we begin to walk back.
“Nice to know your name, at least.” The man’s voice roars in excitement, but neither Ethan nor I turn backwards anymore. “Just stay safe, and don’t go serving that table anymore. Alright?” I nod at Ethan’s words, appreciating his worry. He looks like a killing machine, but once you get to know him; you’ll find out that he is a very sensible man.
I begin washing the rest of the used glasses, staring at the man and his group of men. They all look charming, but in a rough exposure. I wish I didn’t look at that table, because I caught his eyes on me. Before I get the chance to shift my eyesight somewhere else, he sends me a quick wink.
A girl with no sense of morals would go rushing over at him; freeing the lust she might be filled with. Too bad for him, I don’t go down that road. Even though his wink is repulsive, I sense a minimal inch of a complimentary gesture. But then again, he’s just seeking a fun night; but I’m not the one offering. Just a few more ours and I will be out of this hellhole. Away from him and his annoying behaviour.
