L I A M

"Hadley!" I yelled through her house, I walked to the lounge where the horrid stench came from, I stepped through the doorway and the sight that I was faced with made me want to throw up. Her mum laid there motionless and bloody, it was rotting which made my eyes water. I diverted around the body and ran up to Hadley's room, "Hadley!?" I checked under the bed and in the closet, she was nowhere to be found. I ran my hand through my hair and I huffed fell onto the floor. I lay there for a moment before a thought crossed my mind.

"Harry," I shot up and bolted downstairs and slamming the door on the way out, I jumped on my bike, not bothering to put a helmet on. Turning the ignition on, I revved up and sped off.

Arriving at Niall's house, I noticed there were two cars, I expect the others are here to. I got off my bike and walked towards the front of the house and the door opened before I knocked, the collar of my shirt was grabbed and I was dragged into the house. It was dark so I was unable to see who grabbed me.

"Liam, my man," I turned around to see... Harry, that mother fucker.

"I'm not your 'man' and what the fuck did you do to Hadley!?" I pushed him against the wall, he punched my cheek which made me fall back slightly.

"Tsk,tsk, now Liam, I'm sure you don't 'lil' ole' Hadley get hurt do you?" My fists were clenched tightly making my knuckles white.

"Don't you dare!" My fist connected with his nose and he stumbled back, his hand wiped the blood that poured from his nose and he laughed, darkly.

"Where's Niall, you fuck wit!" I stepped closer to Harry, his eyes were almost black.

"I don't know," He shrugged.

"Now, Liam. If you want to see Hadley, one last time, come over to mine. Bring your friend Niall but you have to act like you don't know her." His offer was cruel but it was the last time.

"Fine, when?" He thought for a moment.

"Tomorrow, dress... appropriately." He smiled and walked out of the house without another word. I punched the wall, cutting my hand open slightly.

"What the fuck is going on!?" Niall's voice boomed through the room.

"Shit, Niall, I can explain," I said as he walked closer to me.

"Go on, explain," I told him to sit down, I explained everything that happened, from me finding Hadley's mum to the dinner. Niall ran his hand through his hair and groaned.

"This is fucked Liam! I'm not going to that dinner!" He stood up quickly.

"Do you want her to die!?"

"Better than me dying!" My eyes widened at what he just said.

"Liam, I-I didn't mean t-that," He stuttered, he knows I get aggressive when I'm pissed.

"Please, jus- just go with me, I need to see her," He slowly nodded and sighed.

"Okay, but only for her.”

~Next Night~

“Liam mate, time to leave,” Niall shouted from downstairs, I yelled back to him I’d be down there soon. I looked at myself once more before I headed down to meet Niall who wore a dress shirt along with his signature skinny jeans and black vans.

“You ready?” He asked me, I nodded in reply following him out the door to his car.

“She’ll remember us,” Niall said starting up the car and driving down the street.

“I hope so, I mean it’s been a month since I last spoke or saw her so she shouldn’t have any trouble,” I said scratching the back of my neck.

“I know, but if he has done anything… the trauma will get to her,” I knew he was right, he always was. About fifteen minutes later, we pulled up in front of Harry’s house, I’m being quite honest when I say that I’m terrified of what’s to come tonight.

Niall and I headed to the front door, I fixed my hair up and then I knocked on the door, the footsteps neared and suddenly the door opened.

“Evening gentlemen,” His devious grin made me squirm.

“Please, come in,” Niall and I nodded and stepped inside, my eyes wandered the house when I saw a small, fragile figure step into the room.

H A D L E Y

When I heard the knocking on the door, I quickly threw on the dress I was given then I quickly chucked on a pair of white converse, after agreeing I looked somewhat presentable, I walked out of the room and into the lounge where to boys were standing with Harry. They looked familiar but I couldn’t pinpoint it. I walked towards the gentlemen and introduced myself.

“Hello, I’m Hadley. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” I presented myself and held out a hand which they both gladly shook.

“I’m Niall and this is Liam, lovely to meet you Hadley,” Niall smiled widely making his blue eyes sparkle.

“Now, dinner should be served shortly, take a seat if you’d like,” Harry politely smiled, but I could see straight through that. Liam, Niall and I took a seat on the sofa while Harry went and prepared dinner.

“So, Hadley how’d you and Harry meet?” I bit the inside of my cheek.

“We, uh… we’ve known each other since we were small and we were just reunited and it all happened from there,” I ‘smiled’.

“Ah, that’s terrific,” I smiled at Niall, he was trying so hard to be sociable.

“Yes, well… what about you two?” I asked intertwining my hands together.

“Us? Well, I had my eyes set on someone but she uh… disappeared I guess you could say,” Niall replied rather sadly.

“Oh? I hope you find her,” I smiled sympathetically, I turned to Liam waiting a reply.

“And you Liam?” He shifted slightly, like he was… uncomfortable? He couldn’t even look me in the eye, did I forget to cover something?

“There’s no one,” He firmly said.

“Oh, okay,” I got up and walked to the kitchen to see Harry cooking.

“Hey,” I sighed and jumped on the counter.

“You didn’t say anything that would… get you into trouble did you?” He said and swiftly held a knife to my uncovered leg. I shook my head and he nodded turning back to cooking.

H A R R Y

I swear to god if she said anything, I will have to get rid of her.

After what happened today, for the first time… I felt bad, it’s my fault that she tried to. I mean it’s my job.
