Little Me

I walked downstairs to my parents and hugged my mom. She was sitting at the island we had drinking coffee.

She was still, not knowing what I was up to.

"I'm sorry mom. So sorry for how I've been. It's just hard not having him around. Being completely abandoned by him. I'm trying to get better. I will get better. I love you." I said not letting her go.
"It's okay hun, but... I have a confession to make..." She said trailing off. Those words made me uneasy.
"Like what?" I asked slowly letting her go.
"One direction... They're coming to town... I thought it would be good if you went and saw him. I got a meet and greet for you too." She said in a small voice. She grabbed her wallet and pulled out a ticket and a laminated pass.

She didn't. I was furious. I didn't want to see him. Ever.

"Mom... Send them back and get your money back. I'm not going." I said through gritted teeth.

She shook her head. Damn her and her stubbornness. Lucky for her I got that gene.

"I refuse. He doesn't have time for me anymore. I'm not worthy of the precious pop prince." I place the ticket and pass down.

"Kassandra." She stated. Oh shit she meant business.

"You are going. I'll be disappointed in you if you don't." And with the she got up and went to her room. When she said that I knew I had lost the battle. Nothing is worse than when your parent is disappointed in you. Angry? That's fine, they'll get over it. But disappointed is something they never get over. Especially if your my mom.

I have to go.

Well, if I have to go than I'll make sure Mr. Tomlinson will know just how much he hurt me. Plus, if I have to go I can't let him see me in this state. I had to make it look like I wasn't wasting my days struggling to get over him. And that means a shopping spree!

I smiled and grabbed whatever money I had left from chores.

I grabbed my car keys and got into my jeep wrangler unlimited and went to the mall. I wouldn't be here long.

At the mall I got; cherry red hair dye - the way my hair usually was. An a simple outfit. A cheetah off the shoulder shirt and black shorts. And a pair of ankle boots. That would be my concert attire.

---- Later that night I looked at when this tragic event was going to happen. My eyes popped out of my head.
"Mom, these tickets are for tomorrow?! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME?" I yelled. Not happy with the lack if warning.

"Yes. Because the closer to the day if the concert, the more reassurance you'd go with no second doubting yourself." She shrugged.

UHG. That woman. I swear. ----

I sat there and studied my appearance. I wore the clothes I bought yesterday, my hair was beach curls, my makeup; nice lashes and pin-up girl eye liner. And my bags? They were gone since I had TWO nights full of sleep AND really good cover-up! Thank you, cover girl!

Sighing I grabbed my clutch, ticket and pass. ----

I didn't have the best seats, my mom was more concerned for the meet and greet.

The boys did amazing! There was still a part of me that was proud. But my anger over powered it. The show soon ended and I was nervous. Why? I didn't know but the damn butterflies wouldn't stop swarming.

---- I made sure I was the last in line. All these girls could have their precious boy band. I was doing this for my mom.

After a good fifteen minutes of waiting, it was my turn. I took a deep breath and walked in.
