We walked through Central Park hand in hand. The weather was perfect except for one distant storm cloud. "You look nice." Louis said. "Almost as good as me." He joked. "Yeah when you have a bag over your head." I teased. Almost as if on cue he started fake sobbing. That made me laugh even harder. This great. I said. But there's still one thing I need to no. Now I was serious and he could tell. Why did you cheat. What made you think I wasn't good enough. I whispered. Because any louder and I would be in tears. He picked my chin up and looked me in the eye. Because I was stupid. He said his voice sincere but I almost felt as if his yes weren't. That's no excuse I said. Even when we weren't together I dated no one. Hardly even looked at a guy. You broke my heart and made me cry. I still whispered. I trust you now but you need to promise. I said. He looked at me. I promise. He said. Then all of a sudden the rain downpoured. I started to giggle. Kiss me he said. Then I was silent. I took two steps back and shook my head. Then my lip quivered. I ran.
