Harry and I walked out of my room together, before we reached the staircase he held my hand. He gave me a reassuring smile and descended down.

"We'll be okay, I promise." He gave a me a quick peck on the lips and knocked on the door to my father's office.

"Come in." His voice echoed through the hallway. I turned the doorknob and made our way in. "Sit." He instructed. We sat down in the chairs provided in front of his desk. My father looked at our hands and shook his head. "You know Luci, don't you." I slowly nodded my head. "I knew this day would come..." He trailed off.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"There is something that only your mother and I know or knew." He coughed.

"What is it?" I asked nervously. I looked at Harry, he just shrugged and squeezed my hand.

"Harry will you excuse us for a moment?" Harry looked at me, I shook my head not wanting him to leave.

"I'll be just out the door." He kissed my hand and left. It was just my father and I.

"Who..are you?" I managed to ask trying not to cry. I couldn't look at the man who was sitting across from me.

"Lucille, I am your father. I am so sorry about the things I've kept. It was only for your safety." I looked at the ground and let tears fall.

"How'd mom die?" I asked still staring away.

"Sh-she died in a c-car accident. You know th-that" he stuttered. Lie.

"How'd. Mom. Die." I repeated. "No more lies." He sighed and hit his desk.

"Your mother and I met in Alaska, on a secret mission. We were superheroes too." My head snapped back up. "We worked together and were partners and lovers ever since. One day, a few months after you were born she went out at night and was kidnapped, I went to the ends of the earth trying to find her but never succeeded. I looked at you after years of trying to find her and knew that she would want me to take care of you." I got up and hugged my dad who was also crying.

"It was only for your safety. That you were never to know." I kissed his head and looked him in the eye.

"I love you dad."

"I love you too Luci." I went back to my seat and fiddled with my fingers.

"So what do you mean you were a superhero?" I asked.

"I lost them after your mom disappeared." He frowned. "I don't know how, they just were gone." There was long silence between us. "Luci, have you ever wondered why you never broke a bone or if you cut yourself you didn't feel it much?" He asked. I thought about it for a bit. No.

"What does that mean?" I asked starting to get worried.

"Luci you have powers. You're a healer, you can go invisible and you can control the weather ." My first reaction was to laugh. I couldn't stop.

"Okay dad, April fools was 2 weeks ago." I said after I caught my breath.

"It's true!" He shouted. "Boys! Get in here!" The five boys rushed into the room and surrounded us.

"What's going on?" Louis asked.

"My dad thinks I have powers!"

"She does! Niall she can heal people, like you, become invisible and control the weather." I still didn't believe him.

"Lets test it out." Harry said. I turned around and saw him take a knife and slice his arm.

"Harry no!" I screamed and ran next to him. I touched his arm and wished for it to get better. "Get some paper towels and a bandage!" Once I said that, the blood and scar was gone. Holy shit balls.

"You did it!" My dad yelled.

"I'm a superhero." I said slowly.

"You'll need some training, if you're willing to stay." He responded.

"I can't just drop college for this." I was so confused! I'm a fricking superhero!

"This is who you are." I thought about it and looked at Harry.

"On 2 conditions." I bargained. He nodded his head. "I get to be with Harry." I held his hand again.

"Luci ple-"

"I'm a big girl dad."

"Fine, be careful with her Harry."

"Yes sir."

"What's the second condition?" I sucked in some air and sighed.

"We try and find mom again. Both of us."
