Be With You
I sat in my room for the rest of the night just listening to music and staring out the window. So much had happened today, I mean I just found out I have powers and my dad hates Harry and I together. Once in a while my dad would knock on the door but I wouldn't answer.
My stomach started to growl loudly and I had forgotten I hadn't eaten anything all day. I turned my head and looked at my clock '8:46'. Food will make me feel better.
I got off my bed and silently crept downstairs like a ninja. The fridge was stocked with left over food from last night so I took a grocery bag and put as much as I could fit into it. Then I heard footsteps. I begged in my head for it not to be my dad and crouched behind the counter. I looked down and saw nothing. Literally nothing.
"OH MY GOD!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. My dad dropped his glass of water and looked around.
"Lucille?! Where are you!?" He yelled. I ran over to him and shook him. "Sweetheart you're using your power!" I examined my hands and feet, I couldn't see them. I was invisible.
"I'm invisible." I muttered to myself. "And I thought getting my period was terrifying." My skin color and clothes started to appear again. I felt so relieved
"Good job!" He kissed my head and then I remembered that I was still mad at him.
"I'm going upstairs, night." I waved goodbye. Once upstairs I started munching away. I was so stuffed 15 minutes later. I checked my phone and saw 4 missed calls from Harry and called him back.
"Hello love." He greeted me with his gorgeous voice. Yes, a voice can be gorgeous.
"Hey, guess what." I giggled.
"What?"
"I used my invisibility power like 20 minutes ago! It was so cool!" He laughed and said how proud he was. "Where are you?"
"I'm actually just getting back from a robbery case downtown."
"Oh well I miss you. I wish you were here, I hate how things are." I heard some rustling in the background and the line went dead. "Harry?"
"Did I make your wish come true?" He asked as he came in through my window. I smiled widely and ran to him.
"Hello." He put his arms around me and hugged me tightly.
"I'm so glad you're here, you make everything better." He kissed my cheek and led me back towards my bed. "Want to pick up where we left off?" I winked. He smiled back seductively. I kissed him hungrily while his hands went up my shirt and unclasped my bra. He started massaging my breast while I unbuckled his belt. I accidentally let a moan escape my mouth.
"Your dad is in the other room." Harry realized. "I don't th-" I cut him off by crashing my lips against his.
"I don't care." He lifted my shirt off and threw it aside exposing my bare chest.
"You're beautiful." He said between kissed that trailed along my jawline. I unbuttoned his jeans and somehow slid them down with my feet. More moans escaped my mouth, some a little too loud. "Stop." Harry said abruptly and threw a blanket on top. "Your dad." Oh crap. My dad opened the door and flicked the light switch on.
"Luci? Are you okay?" I lifted my head and searched the room for Harry. He was no where to be seen.
"Yeah nightmare. I'm fine." He gave me a nod and left my room.
"Harry?" I whispered. His figure appeared.
"You went invisible? You have my power?" I asked with a puzzling expression.
"I can copy people's powers, that one came in handy." He laughed. He handed me my shirt and bra and put his belt on. "I want to take you somewhere." I finished putting my clothing and looked at him. He was standing next to my window with his hand held out for me to take.
"Um are we jumping?" Oh hell naw. I'm a "healer" not fricking invincible.
"Trust me, please?" I bit my lip and looked into his excited eyes. 'Trust him' I thought and finally took his hand. He jumped and I felt the window smacking my face. So much adrenaline ran through my veins. I gripped Harry's shirt and closed my eyes. I felt so free.
"Open your eyes" he whispered into my ear. I opened them slowly and looked at where we were.
"Are we on the London Bridge?!" I yelled. He nodded and smiled. We were sitting on a bridge. Who does that!? We looked at the stars together and held hands. "This is amazing."
"I come here to be alone with my thoughts, but I don't want to be alone anymore. I want to be with you." I leaned in against his chest and inhaled his scent.
"I'll always be with you."
