One
She was the most beautiful girl in school. Despite the other girls' best efforts, there really was no one else like her. Her luscious golden hair fell down to her waist and her harsh green eyes contrasted perfectly with her almost porcelain looking skin. I had tried to speak to her on countless occasions but every single time I had gathered up the courage, I would get weak in the knees and put it off yet again, telling myself that I’d do it tomorrow.
I wasn’t the only one who liked her. Of course she had plenty of guys chasing after her. That's the way she liked it too. It was like she didn't care that they only wanted to mess around.
She didn't even know of my existence. If only I could make her see that I wasn’t like those other guys, that I would treat her with the respect that she deserves. Maybe then she would give me a chance.
