♥Chapter Four♥
Sophie's P.O.V
So it's been a week since i meet Zayn,i've only seen him once since last saturday but he was too busy with my brother to notice me.
I've been busy with Liam most of the week going out with him to keep myself from thinking about Zayn,and when i've not been with Liam i've been with Luke and Callum working in the garage they've just bought some new cars that needed some working on and i even got to redesign one.
This was my new car completely brand new i was so excited to race in it,i'd been trying to get Louis to let me race tonight but he doesn't even want to listen to what i have to say.
"wow,who's car is this?"harry and Louis walked into the garage Zayn following behind them.
"it's sophie's new one,she rebuilt and designed it herself,so we thought she'd wanna keep it as a trophy for all the hard work she put into it"Callum's jokes we're starting to get on my nerves,he's been teasing me about this all week.
"you rebuilt and designed this all by yourself?"zayn's question took me off guard he seem to be the only one who didn't think i wasn't capable of driving because i was a girl.
"of course she did,our sohp's quite the engineer,right babe?"harry came to stand next to me,all eyes were watching me.
" Can i race tonight please Louis i'm begging i promise i won't let you down?"i pleaded my brother,trying to change the subject.
"No,i've told you you're not racing it's too dangerous,don't even think about asking again"
Louis shook his head and Callum and Luke showed him his new car they's been working on.
"So i can't even come tonight,please i promise i'll behave i just want to watch,please"i was aware that i was whining and complaining like a child that couldn't get what they wanted but that's exactly how i felt.
"Fine but you'll need to find someone to look after you i'm racing tonight and harry and niall won't be there,if you don't find someone your not coming"Louis called to me from the back of the shop.
"why aren't you coming?"i turned to harry,he was looking at me sat on one of the chairs from the office of the garage.
"doesn't matter,who are you going to take with you?"harry avoided my question but i wasn't in the mood for arguing with him.
"Zayn"i simply smiled looking around for the boy,who was checking out my new car.
"do you like it?"i asked him,walking up to where he was stood.
"yeah it's amazing i can't believe you did this all by yourself"his smile was enough to make me go weak at the knees.
"thanks,so will you come with me tonight?"i looked down trying to hide the redness on my checks from his comment and the fact i just basically asked him out,his finger brought my chin up so i was looking him in the eyes.
"i'd love to but i can't i'm racing tonight"i sigh that mean i'll have to ask Liam or one of the other boys to come.
"Keep your hands of my sister inless to want me to cut your balls off"Louis came through the front of the garage looking very sternly at Zayn i hadn't even noticed how close we were.
"Shut up lou,is Liam coming to the race tonight?"i need to find someone to come with me.
"yeap but he's racing,and before you ask Callum,michael aren't going either"I wanted to smack the smirk right off of his face,he knew there wasn't anyone else i could ask unless.
"hey luke,you'll come with me wouldn't you?"i'd never of asked Luke to come before because things are kind of awkward i used to date his best friend ashton back when we went to school together,luke and callum we're always my friends but since me and ashton things have been kind of weird between us.
"umm,yeah sure,i'll pick you up at nine?"he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck looking from me to my brother.
"luke i swear if anything happens to her,you're dead,i'm holding you responsible for her,okay?"i had to roll my eyes at how stupid my brother was,did he think i was going to jump in front of one of the cars or something.
"i'm not a child,i don't need a babysitter Louis,i'll be fine"i crossed my arms over my chest,i swear it's ridiculous how annoying the all are,treating me like a baby.
"whatever,just stay out of trouble,i'll have eyes watching your every move"Louis joked waling out of the garage harry snorted and followed him out.
"you okay?"Zayn was the only one who didn't leave,he came to stand in front of me,he had to bend down a bit to look me in the eye.
"yes,i'm fine nothing i can't handle,so are you going to win tonight?"i couldn't wait to watch zayn and my brother race tonight.
"with you there watching of course"i laughed at his cheesy line.
"well i better start getting ready now then,if i'll be seeing you later?"his smile only grew wider when i stepped closer to him.
"i don't want you looking to good,otherwise i don't think i'll be able to stop myself"i was leaning up to whisper in his ear when Louis came back in the garage.
"sophie come on,we're going to see Anne"of course my stupid brother had to ruin the moment.
"okay coming,look i've gotta go,good luck for tonight,and i'll see you later"i quickly kissed Zayn check and run out to where my brother and harry was waiting for me.
Zayn's P.O.V
"So what have you got for me,are you any closer to him?"
"i don't think it's them,he's not stupid enough to be doing drugs and racing"saturday afternoon and i was sat with a bunch of people from work discussing my case.
"Maybe it's his sister that's telling you not to believe it's him,because i don't see anyone else it could be?"fuck how did they find out about sophie.
"leave sophie out of this,she hasn't got anything to do with this,it could be that Harry Styles but i think he's too stupid to be able to hide it from Louis"my boss rolls his eyes at me.
"you better not be going soft because of the girl,i need information within the next 48 hours otherwise you can rethink your job career "shit 48 hours i can't do nothing with that.
"i just need so ore time,please"i can't believe i'm sat here bagging for them to give me more time.
"you want that detective badge,you're going to have to earn it,you've got 48 hours"i couldn't believe it i need some information fast.
I needed to go to the garage and check it out maybe they have another warehouse or something i'll have to call sophie.
