~Gabrielle Aplin-please don't say you love me~ I think this song really reflects on how Sophie feels in this chapter.
Sophie's P.O.V
I slammed on the brakes,the car coming to a very sudden stop,i took a look at Harry who's face was extremely close.
"is it wrong that i want to kiss you?"Harry breathlessly asked,a gloss coated over his eyes when i looked into the beautiful green that they were.
"Is it wrong i want to kiss you too?"my voice was just above a whisper with all my nerves and butterflies i managed to get out.
"Are you ready,i mean it's been 7 weeks-"I cut Harry's mumbling off when i carefully but quickly placed my lips on his.
My blood warm and running through my veins almost calmly when harry kissed me back,i gasp for air when i pulled away and the look he gave me made my heart skip and when he reattached our lips i'm almost sure he could feel my heart racing and beating with every kiss he planted on my lips.
Harry held my face held softly and lovingly in between his hands and it was like time froze it was most probably why i hadn't noticed i'd taken my foot of the brake and we'd slowly rolled of the little country road and hit a fence.
"Omg,my baby"Harry shrieked as the car hit the fence,my face it the steering wheel and i could hear harry laughing at me.
He was out the car inspecting it without a moment to think,jesus he can be so considerate i mean i just whacked my head and he's worried about his stupid car.
"Don't worry i'm fine,honestly"Harry looked at me questionably after hearing the sarcasm in my voice.
"Did you hurt your pride?Because you sure just ruined my car"I rolled my eyes and got out to look at the damage.
"Why would i hurt my pride,there's nothing wrong with the car,you idiot"I slapped his arm unfortunately before i could get back in the car Harry grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him.
"You just lost the bet,loser"I cursed under my breath and rolled my eyes for what felt like the hundredth time today.
"No it was your fault we crashed,YOU were distracting me"I poked him in the chest with my finger reminding him about the kiss we just shared.
"If i remember cleary,you were the one who kissed me first"Harry had a smug grin plastered on his face. "Anyway i'll make you a deal if you kiss me again i'll take you to the bar"I laughed and poked his dimpled cheeky smile.
"I don't need to kiss you for you to take me to the bar,i'll just ask Niall to take me,he's more fun anyway"I teased pulling out of harry's hold,he grabbed my arm and spun me around,bringing me closer to him then i was before.
Harry's P.O.V
"You can't your my slave for the next 24 hours and you have to do whatever i say"I watched an adorable pout form on her beautiful face.
"Okay fine but you're still taking me to the bar"She leaned in closer to me,her arms rested on my shoulders i could feel her playing with my hair.
"Do you want to go to the race,we could just go straight to the pub?"I asked not bothered about racing tonight.
"Let's just go to the pub,i need a drink!"I've never seen her so excited about going to the pub it was kind of funny.
"What are you laughing at,let's go"She went to walk to the drivers side before i pulled her back,i pecked her lips and pushed her around to the passenger side of the car.
"You're never driving my car ever again"I laughed,i saw her rolling her eyes playfully,a smile on her face.
"That's what you said last time"I laughed remembering the time we got drunk together she drove my car into a tree,she must have been thinking about the memory well the silly smile she had spread across her face was enough to make my insides melt,i'd never admit it out loud but Sophie was my soft spot i'd do anything for her.
Sophie's P.O.V
The radio was on low,Harry was quietly humming along to the songs,his fingers drumming on the steering wheel,the small smile he wore would turn into a grin when he noticed I'd been looking at him.
I turned to look out the window quickly before he could see the embarrassment on my face,with trees passing by so fast it somehow made me think how much it resembled life,everything just been happening so fast these past few months.
The time i spent with Zayn,it made me realize that life's not perfect but as long as it's perfect to you what else could you want,he gave me something that i'll never have again,and it might not have been long that i knew him but it was still better than nothing.
I've come to realize that out of everyone i know there's always been just one person who's always been there for me,through everything,i always looked past everything we had thinking it wasn't real and it wouldn't last but now looking back were still together maybe not in the same way but nothings changed,not really.
It might not be ready to say it but i think i'm differently falling in love,with every passing minute,day and week i get deeper and deeper,maybe i'm in denial,maybe i've always felt this way but i tried to ignore it with the fear my feelings weren't going to be returned.
