Sophie's P.O.V
"Zayn?"I hadn't even noticed my feet carrying me towards them,he turned around hearing his name,and it was like i fell in love with him all over again,tears formed in my eyes and the pain of having to be with him stung more than ever.
"Sophie?Wh-what are you doing here?"After swallowing and shutting out Zayn came closer to me,he tried to take my hand,but it was like a natural reaction i hadn't even realized i'd slapped him across the face until the room fell silent,the only noise was the sound of my hand hitting his beautiful face.
"Hey Louis do you wanna come get a drink with me?"I hadn't remembered the girl that stood with us until i turned to see who it was.
"Charlie,what are you doing -"
"yeah,a drink sounds great,Sophie if you need me just call and i'll be waiting outside"I didn't get a second to think about what had just happened before a prison guard came over to us.
"Miss you've got to sit down or i'm going to have to ask you to leave?"The man had black short hair,and he was about 6'3 with a lot of muscle so i did as asked and sat down in the chair opposite Zayn.
Zayn's P.O.V
Just liked they'd all said Sophie didn't look like the girl i last saw not even a week ago,ever since i've known her she's always been underweight but she looked even skinnier like she hadn't eaten in weeks.
Her hair was a mess,her eyes looked emotionless and they'd lost that sparkle of happiness,life,and love,her lips looked a unhealthy white colour and her skin was very pale.
Her clothes were simple like she wasn't trying to impress anyone,but she never did have to dress up to impress me.
And even though she didn't look like they girl i fell in love with underneath she hadn't changed at all,she was still as pretty as an angel,to me she'd always be beautiful.
"So why'd you come,i thought i'd never see you again?"She looked startled by my question but quickly recovered.
"Zayn i came to give you a chance,one you'll never have again,just tell me the truth,please i love you and if you love me like you've said why can't you tell why you've been arrested?"
"Look i've been doing a lot of thinking,and i don't know about you but if you can't trust me then i don't think this relationship is going to work,i don't want to walk away without a fight but i have to know that i have something to fight for Zayn,if you want this to work going to have to say so"Wow i swear she said that all in one breath.
"Sophie,i'm not getting out of here for a long time,and you've got so many people around you that care about you,you don't need me,i love you so much it's untrue but i can't have you any more it's time for you to move on"With each word that i forced out of my mouth i was stabbing my heart wishing i could hold her and tell her everything's going to be okay.
"No,i don't believe you,i don't need or want them all i want is you,and these past few days have shown me that i need you Zayn,whatever it is i'm not giving up on us,we have something special and i know you feel it too,everyone can see it,Jesus Christ we even have a child together"I hadn't dared to look her in the eyes.
When i finally did they were the prettiest colour of blue,Hope,fear,need and nervousness was only visible to those who looked closely hidden by her long thick eyelashes,she sat there pouring her heart out to me,and i had to choices 1-apologize,tell her i love her and that everything will be okay and i speak to Charlie and Chris or 2- I do what best for her and say it's over between us.
There's just one problem i'm not selfless enough to let her go..
"It's not going to be easy but i'm going to do everything i can to get out of here,and i promise i'll be there for the birth of OUR child,if you promise you start listening to everyone,you've gotta start eating and looking after yourself,do we have a deal?"The look on her face was one i'll never forget the relief and joy that flooded her face,made the smile on my face spread even bigger.
