Sophie's P.O.V


"Louis where are we going?"We had stopped at a red light on the motorway and i had no idea where we was going the car had been silent until now.


"if this is going to act when he's not around,i'll take you to him because i can't stand to see you like this any more Sophie"i was beyond confused who was he taking me to see,surely not Zayn.


"i don't know what your talking about,there's nothing wrong with me,i'm fine"I'm sure i was trying to convince myself more than my brother.


"you and i both know that's bullshit,Sophie you don't have to pretend with me,plus i know when you're lying"a small smirk grew on Louis' face,before i hit his shoulder and he pretended to be hurt.

"Louis,i don't think i'm ready for this,please turn the car around,i can't face him not yet"i know i sounded pathetic but like louis just said i don't have to pretend with him,he knows me too well.

"If you don't do it now you'll never do it,trust me it's the right thing to do,he needs you just as much as you need him right now,okay?"a reassuring smile on my brothers comforting face told me he was right,i had to see Zayn.

"Okay but don't leave without me,promise me you won't go until i came out that building"We had just pulled up to the prison and butterflies were making themselves noticed by now,i was beginning to shake with fear.

"You know i would never leave you here,alright fine i promise"Scared by my fierce glare he gave in and promised to wait for me.

"Okay see you in a bit"I shut the car door behind myself,taking a deep breath i walked up the path and into the building.


Zayn's P.O.V

"Seems like you've got a visitor,pretty little thing she is"I was startled by one of the guards standing in the doorway of the cell.

"really,what does she look like?"I didn't want to get my hopes up but i was desperate to see Sophie,i hadn't realized just how much i needed her until now.

"Why don't you see for yourself,come on"i reluctantly got up from the floor where i was sat and walked over to the big prison guard,i turned around and held my hands behind my back for him to put the handcuffs on.

"You don't really seem like the crazy type or aggressive so what did you do to get yourself in here?"The guard seemed curious and happy enough but i still didn't tell him the reasons i was here.

"Charlie?"I interrupted the guard from what he was saying,shocked to see the girl sat at the table in front of me.

"hey"her soft response,made the guard smile and silently leave us,so i sat down across the table from her.

"What are you doing here Charlie?"She had her hands resting on the table,playing with the rings on her fingers.

"why didn't you tell them?"She was confused,but i am as well maybe i didn't tell them because i'm in love with Sophie,or maybe because i finally felt like i fit in with these people.

"I don't know,how did you even find out ?"I didn't dare tell anyone the reason for my actions.

"Zayn,my brother has known you for 5 years,he was your partner ever since you became a Police officer,and you think he wouldn't find out and tell me" There was a small smile on her face and at the mention of her brother we both became a little more relaxed.

"I guess,how is he?Please tell me he doesn't hate me?"It had been a while since i'd last seen him but Chris was my best friend,i don't think i'd be able to cope with another person hating me at the moment.

"He's fine and no he doesn't hate you,but that's not the reason i'm here,Zayn you've gotta get out of here Sophie needs you more than ever right now,i'm not joking she's not doing so well without you"Charlie cared a lot for Sophie you could tell the way she would always speak about her.

Sophie loved Charlie deeply as well,she'd been the only girl in a boys world ever since she can remember,so when Liam bought Charlie home Sophie fell in love with the idea of them being best friends and it's good that they get along so well.

"You don't understand Charlie if i walk free it means i have to tell the Police everything,i can't do that,Sophie would never forgive me if any of the boys ended up in prison,and i'd never forgive myself if anything happened to her she needs them more than me,It's just best that i'm here instead of them"Charlie looked shocked from my answer but soon a small sad smile appeared on her face.

"Why don't you just let her decide that,she needs you,she's your girlfriend and she's having YOUR baby,don't you think she deserves the right to know and choose"

"No she's been through enough,she shouldn't have to choose between me and her brother,best friends it's just easier this way,Charlie if she did choose me she'd lose everyone she cares about,you'd lose Liam and i'd never be enough for her"

"Or we could just find another way to get you out,let me help,i'll talk to my brother and maybe we can get you out without anyone going to prison"Her face lit up like a child on Christmas morning,but we both knew that it would be nearly impossible to find another way.

"No,just go home Charlie and get on with your life,i don't need you help to get out of here i need you to look after Sophie and stay out of trouble"I'd had enough talking making sure she understood to stop meddling i stood up from the table ready to walk away before a hand wrapped around my arm pulling me back.

"Zayn what about Your baby,don't you wanna be there the day it's born,or watch it grow up,if you stay in this place you'll never get out,you know that right?Stop being a coward and fight for what you've got"Her words were harsh but she spoke the truth.
