♥Chapter Twelve♥
Sophie's P.O.V
I wasn't stupid enough to answer any of the question the police were asking me,i told them i didn't know anything about the drugs,and i had know idea why we we're arrested because i had no idea what they were talking about.
"Okay since there's no evidence and you clearly have no idea about the drugs,you're being released"A women in a tight grey suit had been asking me question and was now telling me i could go home .
"Thanks so much for waking me up and wasting my time"i pushed my way past them and waited to be escorted back to the reception to collect my things.
"Sophie,are you okay??Can you go now?"Charlie jumped out of her seat,when she saw me walking towards her.
"I'm fine,where's Zayn?" she hugged me tightly,mumbling in my hair.
"Charlie,i can't understand,where's Zayn?"i was starting to get worried,what if something had happened to him.
"He's been arrested"her voice was quiet,she was probably expecting me to start crying or something but i couldn't,i sigh'd and run my hands through my hair.
"what did he do?"he wasn't arrested at the house from what i'd seen,which was weird but he must of done something.
"i'm not sure,he was shouting at the police officers when he got here,he was taken into a room and he came back out handcuffed,i think he was taken to a cell"i slid down the wall i was leaning on,my head rested on my hands.
"i'm sure they'll let him out soon"Charlie tried to comfort me but it wasn't helping.
"What about the rest of the boys?"I hope they're okay,hopefully harry hasn't said something stupid.
"Sophie?"Nialls irish accent called my name,i looked up he was getting his belongings.
"They're letting you go?"i hugged him tight,and sat back down on the floor exactly how i was sat before.
"Is it just us?"Niall took a seat next to Charlie on the chairs.
"yeap,the other boys haven't come out yet,and Zayn's been arrested"Charlie informed him on everything that has happened tonight.
I wasn't really listening so i had no idea Luke,Ashton,Michael,Callum,Liam and Harry had been released,Harry sat next to me on the floor and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"you okay?"He asked,all i could think about was Zayn.
"Zayn's been arrested and put in a cell"I know harry didn't care but i did and i didn't know what he'd done.
"What did he do??"i was growing tired but i'm not leaving here until my brother and Zayn are released.
"Your guess is as good as mine,what's taking them so long?"i was getting annoyed and aggravated.
" Guys were going to head off,call us if you need anything and text when they've released them yeah,see you later Sophie"I agreed to keep them informed and waved to goodbye to Ashton,Callum,Michael,Luke,Liam and Charlie.
"I'm going to go back to the house,i'll call you"Niall stood up from his chair and left Harry and myself alone.
"You should go home as well,get something to eat and some sleep"i leaned my head on Harry's shoulder and shook my head.
"I'm not leaving until Louis and Zayn are released,i won't leave without them Harry"he didn't argue with me which i was thankful for.
Zayn's P.O.V
"where are they Zayn?"Once the police searched the property and didn't find anything they brought me into questioning.
"I told you it isn't them,but you never listened to me"I can't believe Charlie was the only one not arrested.
"You know i can arrest you for handing back information,Zayn this is your job to tell us where the drugs are so we can get the bad guys,not for you to play happy families and turn into the bad guy"i wasn't going to tell them anything Sophie was more important than any job,she was my life now,it was my job to protect her and if that meant losing my job and keeping her family out of prison it's something i'm willing to do.
"I told you already i don't know anything,it's not them"i showed no emotion to the Police officer sat in front of me.
"Zayn if you're not going to tell me maybe you'll think twice once you've sent the night in a cell."she raised her thin eyebrow at me.
"i could sit here all night Zayn,you're going to have to talk eventually"She was getting annoyed with my lack of cooperation.
"Fine,i arrest you,you'll be locked in a cell and you'll lose your job,is she really worth it Zayn?"i stood up waiting to be escorted to a cell,she let out an annoyed sigh knowing she wasn't going to get what she wanted.
"Zayn Malik, I am arresting you on suspicion of Unfulfilling you duties as an undercover police officer and Non Cooperating with the police .You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence"i rolled my eyes when my hands were grabbed and brought behind my back,handcuffs tight on my wrists.
"is this really necessary,it's not as if i'm going to be able to run off"i was pulled out of the interrogation room and down the hallway.
"Have fun"The stuck up police officer sarcasticly sang to my as i was thrown in the cell,the door slaming behind me.
