We had been here in California for the summer and at first I thought that it would be boring even if it was a different country.
It had only been a few days after when I had met him… The one I would call my Summer Love… Cheesy right?

We got on so well,we hung out every day for the three weeks I was there but when he was out, I'd sit in my hotel room writing songs, but I'd never share them with him because well most of them were about him…

As the weeks went by it finally came to the end of our holiday. I had spent the current night writing a new song that I would share with him…
As I walked up to the beach to find his hair rippling in the wind and sat beside him cuddling into him keeping warm
"I have something I want to sing to you" I said quietly, he looked at me with surprised eyes but nodded, I took a huge breath,

I saw that he was crying and I only noticed I was as well was when he wiped the tears from my flushed face,
"I promise Georgia - Rose Patterson, I will never forget you and I promise not forget we had it all and baby girl you'll always be my summer love" He said as we both cried into each other's shoulders before he pulled away and looked over to see his parents waving him over, he looked at me and I didn’t want him to say what was on his lips and nodded over at him and wiped the tears away and walked over to my own family.
