Louis' POV
'So........ how did you get you injuries?' I asked, trying to sound casual. The girl glanced at me and sighed.
'Well, there is this girl who hates me more than anyone else, and my facial injuries are her goodbye present. The cuts on my arm are from Ms Harley. I was surprised she didn't get out the knife, as she usually does,' she said calmly, as if it was as normal as a tree. I turned and stared at her. So did all the other guys, except Liam, who stared through the rear vision mirror.
'What's wrong?' she asked, her tortured blue eyes wide open. I shook my head at her, wondering what else she'd been through.
'People shouldn't do that to you. If anyone does anything to you again, let us know. Promise babe?' I asked, hoping that she would. She raised one eyebrow.
'Why would you care? I mean, nobody else would,' she said, sounding genuinely curious.
'Why wouldn't we care?! We're you fathers now,' Niall said proudly, puffing out his chest. The girl laughed slightly, but stopped herself straight away.
'What's your name anyway, princess?' asked Harry.
'Husky-Ann,' she said quietly, as if embarrassed. Zayn smiled at her.
'That's a lovely name.' Husky blushed, but it was obvious that she didn't believe a word. Niall smiled at her, and we all turned back towards the front. Husky grinned at me, then turned back to face the window. I frowned. I honestly wondered why nobody liked her. She was lovely, both personality and looks wise.
'Are we your first family? Because I couldn't imagine anyone returning you,' said Liam, glancing in the rear view mirror.
'Err.... you're actually the 53rd people to adopt me,' Husky said, obviously embarrassed. I stared at her. It was the previous scene all over again.
'Please tell me you're joking,' I said, probably a bit too loudly. Toni shook her head and looked down. Yep, she was embarrassed. Nobody said anything else. The rest of the trip to the airport was uncomfortably silent.

Part two. I planned ahead in my iPad notes and I will be updating tonight a lot.
Your dad's an ass then if he says that...Anyway my dad says I was adopted and that I wasn't his child and a bunch of things and if know those aren't true cause I go through a lot of things to get evidence and I was right. It's just the way my dad shows affection for one and another. Remember that it doesn't matter what people think of you. You define beauty others don't define beauty for you. You shouldn't care about what your step dad thinks, when your old enough you'll be able to make your dad suffer and call him names and things like that. Put him through the stress he put you in.
