One Chance
Breakfast Time!
Abby's POV
I woke up very lazily. I rubbed my eyes until I got rid of the crust in the corners of them. Once they were fully open, I had to close them again because of the blinding afternoon light coming from the window.
"Abby's awake," I heard quietly from the other room.
"ABBBBBBBBYYYYYYY!!!!!!" I heard Lacy yell.
"WHHHHAAAAATTTTT!!!!" I yelled back, just as loudly.
"TIME FOR BREAKFAST!!!! GET YOUR LAZY ASS OUT OF BEDDDD!!!" She yelled again.
"CALM YOUR TITS!!!! (That was for you Anna) I'M COMING!!!!" I yelled, rolling off the couch I ended up sleeping on.
"My tits?" I heard Lacy giggle. I walked into the kitchen. The first thing I saw was the HUGE breakfast on the table. There was eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, yogurt, and bananas covering the whole table.
"Whoa," I said when I sat down on one of the chairs.
"Me and Lacy made it early this morning," Josh said proudly from the other end of the table.
"We would have let you help if you got up at a decent time," Lacy said.
"Oh trust me, you all would have food poisoning, if I had cooked," I said. The both laughed.
"Are you really that bad?" Lacy laughed.
"When I was little, I made waffles, and I chipped a tooth because the waffles were harder than my 6 year old brother's pet rock," I laughed.
"Really?" Josh asked.
"Yup," I pulled back my upper lip and showed him the chipped moler.
"So where's your brother now?" Lacy asked, changing the subject.
"He died in a car crash," I said sadly. Lacy rubbed my back.
"Were your parents sad?" Josh asked as soon as he stopped laughing.
"No, they really didn't care about their kids. But that doesn't matter, so what's with the big breakfast?" I asked no one in particular, because they both made the breakfast.
"Energy for our performance tonight," Josh answered.
"Performance?" I asked. What performance? Since when were we having a performance?
"The one we have at the judges house, tonight." Lacy said in a duh kind of voice.
"Ohhhhhh," I said like an idiot. They both rolled their eyes.
"Well I have absolutely nothing to wear," Lacy announced.
"Neither do I," I put my hands on my hips, and leaned forward a little bit.
Lacy looked at her watch, "If we leave now, we'll have just enough time to go to the show," She said.
I looked down at what I was wearing, the same from yesterday, but at least its not pajamas.
"Kay. Let's go....SHOPPING!!!" I yelled, standing up. Lacy stood up too, and we grabbed our purses on the way out.
"You guys better be back for the show," Josh said loudly from the table.
"WE WILL!!!" We both shouted back in unison, as we walked out the door.
