Princesses With A Secret

The house looked even more beautiful than before. There was chandeliers dangling from the ceiling giving the ballroom an enchanted look. All of them had candles, which I'm pretty sure are artificial. Not like I couldn't put them out, but still. The floor was made from white and cream checkered tiles. Amazing how it still looked brand-new after almost 200 years. Probably some Angel type of magic I don't know about. The whole ballroom was a mix of golds and whites. In the middle their was a grand staircase with a red velvet rug reaching the very top. Gold pillars lined the walls, reminding me of sun rays shining down on a meadow in spring. The ceiling held pictures of angels sitting upon clouds. I wish I could sit up on the clouds, making it snow during the winter time.

"Hey do you know what was up with Sarah at school the other day?" I asked Lizzie, following her to the drinks table. She was wearing a peace colored dress with small ruffles in the fabric to make it look like tiny flowers. She also had an tiara on. There was multi-colored flowers with small leaves made out of emeralds.

"No, I was going to ask you that." She said, grabbing a cup of what appeared to be punch.

"Well, I guess well find out tonight." I replied, looking around for Kailee.

"Yeah, I see you trying to leave me." She laughed, "Go, I'll catch you later!" She shouted, walking into the slowly growing crowd.

I just smiled and started towards the stairs.

"Kailee, I've been looking for you everywhere!" I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Haha, sorry." She smiled, picking up some type of pastry. She was wearing a white gown that flared out, looking as if she was gliding over the clouds. With lace gloves and a small white over coat.

"Hey, is that the boys?" I asked, pointing towards the now open doors.

"Yeah, I guess it is. Didn't know they where coming here." She said, taking a bite out of her cookie.

"Well let's go greet them, wouldn't want them to get to lost in this giant castle of yours." I joked, walking over to the giant oak doors.

"Hey, wait up!" She laughed, jogging up to me.

"Hey guys." I said, waving at the boys. After receiving a chorus of 'Hi's' and 'Hello's' we all went up stairs to Kailee's room.

"Well glad to know you all just let yourself into my room." She laughed at the six girls sitting inside her room.

"Haha, hey. What are they doing here." Miranda said, gesturing to the five boys standing behind us.

"Wow, ladies I really am hurt." Louis fake cried, putting a hand on his heart.

"Well not in a mean way just . . ." She trailed off, glancing at Sarah.

"Oh, hey guys can you wait downstairs we'll be out in just a minute." I said, looking out the door.

"Uh, yeah sure. We'll be down stairs." Zayn smiled, walking out the door, the rest of the boys following.

"Kay." I clapped, shutting the door. "So . . . Sarah?" I asked, sitting on the bed. I never really been in Kailee's room before. Well it was way more organized than mine could ever be. There was a wardrobe on one of the cream colored walls, and a couple of pictures on the others. But nothing to interesting, unless you count the window on the wall opposite of the door.

"What?" She replied. "Oh right, well you know Elizabeth." She asked, looking around the room. We all nodded. "Well-

"Hey, girls we need you downstairs. Now." Queen Sanchez said, waving her hand in her direction. Honestly, I didn't even hear her open the door.

"The good news is that all of you, well most of you are getting a chance to use you powers." She smiled, walking out of the door.

"What!" We shrieked, rushing out of the door.

"What about the boys, the guests?" I asked, catching up to her.

"Don't worry I'm not that stupid." She replied in a calm tone, walking down the stairs.

"Miranda, Kailee, and Lizzie. You guys are gonna help me with some flowers. Crystal, Kenzie, and Skylar you guys are gonna help me with a fountain.

"What am I gonna do?" Skylar asked, confusion laced in her voice.

"Light the way." The queen smiled, opening the back door.

I had a feeling we would be doing a little bit more than "practicing our powers"
