It's to late now

Today is the day

Jane's pov:

Mom is gone once again. This is the third day in a row she leaves me all alone. Not like it's anything different when she is home. She is an alcoholic. She's not abusive, yet. I'm not going to stay here and wait for that moment to come.

i've planned nothing, nothing at all. All i know is my destination, New York. The city where dreams are made and nobody ever sleeps.A lot different from this dump, BrickLane. The name alone screams Boring!

My father was a smart men, he left this place fourteen years ago. Two years after i was born and a year before mom started drinking, again. Let's just say she isn't fit to be a mother. She wasn't when she was seventeen and she isn't now.

But today is the day. Today i'm leaving and i'm never coming back. I don't have a car or enough money for a plane ticket to New york. I don't have much in general. I'm wearing my only pair of jeans with a white crop top and my black leather jacket. It wasn't always a crop top but i grew out of it so i made it one. At my feet are my forever old black All Stars. I have one bag, my black shoulder bag. In there i have some clean underwear, a grey t-shirt, some mine i still from my mother, my passport and my gun.

In my shoe i have a knife. If i have to get a ride from some stranger, i better be safe. i put my blonde hair in a high ponytail and walked out of the door. Our house is right next to a big road, so i started to walk along it. Every time someone drove by, i put out my thump as a sine to say 'please, give me a ride.'. But nobody stopped.

After a while someone finally stopped. It was a huge bus. At home we don't have internet and i don't have a phone, right now that would have been very helpful. The name of a band was written on the side of the big, black tour bus. Or at least i think it's a tour bus.

The big door in front of me opened and a friendly looking bunch of guys were staring at me. The all smiled at me but i kept a pretty good poker face, if i do say so myself. "Are you alright, love?" One of the smiling guys asked me. He had an weird accent. I've only ever heard people from BrickLane, so i have no idea where he's from.

"I'm fine, darlin. Just need a ride." I smiled at them. I guess they were surprised by my accent cause they made a funny face when i talked. "Where are you heading?" Another one of them asked me. "New York. What 'bout you?" I asked them. Maybe i can catch a ride from these people.

"That's great, we're going that way to." A blonde guy spoke up. He had an even stranger accent. "Well that is just great. But if i can't get a ride from you people, i have to start looking for someone who can. So, do you have room for one more?" I asked them, smiling slightly at them.
"Of course come on in, love." One of them said. I need to know their names, this is getting confusing.

I got on the bus and was very surprised by the amount of space fits in this bus. i walked over to a expensive looking couch and set down. I then realized i forgot to leave a note for mom, just in case she does get home and misses me. "I'm so sorry to bother you but, do you have a phone so i can call someone? She needs to know i'm not dead." I told the one with curly hair.

"Of course love, here you go." He gave me his phone and i thanked him. i punched in my mothers number and waited for her to pick up. After the fifth ring she finally answered. "Hello, who is this? If this is you Ben, i know i owe you money. i'll get it." she told me. I looked at the phone confused and sighed. "Mom it's me. Your daughter. Jane. I'm just calling to let you know, i won't be back... Ever. I know you won't miss me but just know i'm not dead." I told her, without any emotion in my voice.

I knew the guys were listening but i couldn't bring myself to care. "Jane, darling, where are you going? You don't have any money or a ride. You stupid girl. You'll find out what kind of place this world is. Goodbye, i'll pray for you." She told me and then hung up.

I turned around to face the boys and handed curly his phone back. "So, what are you guys's names and do you have any truck in here" I asked them because, well, i'm freakin hungry.

"Do we have what in here?" Blondie asked me. I looked at him confused. "Truck? Food? You know.. somethin you eat?" I told them and they seemed to understand now. "But first, my name is Jane. Who are you?" I asked them.

"I'm Niall" Blondie asked. "I'm Liam." The one who first spoke to me. "I'm Zayn." The one i've only now heard the voice of. "I'm Louis." He was the second one i spoke to. "And i'm Harry." Harry is curly, he gave me his phone.

"Okay great, now that we have that out of the way, how long till we get in New York?" I asked them. They seemed to be uncomfortable with this because they all squirmed a bit in there seats. "Shoot.." I asked them again.

"Were from a world wide know band called One Direction and we are touring trough America. We will stop at New York but we have to make stops in other towns. That means it can take at least three months until we get there." Liam told me.

I nodded my head slowly. These guys might be handsome and nice, but i don't want to spent the next three months with them. "Alright then, i'll just find a new ride in the next town." I told them, smiling brightly at them.

"NO!" They all screamed at me. I looked at them confused. "Excuse me?" I asked them, completely confused now. "You can't go."
