Will You Ever Stop Hurting Me?

Zayn's POV

School finally ended and the boys and I were walking around.

"Holy shit what happened to her face?" Louis asked pointing at one of Brittney's friend.

"Holy crap that new girl is awesome! Eleanor I think is her name! I can't believe someone finally slapped that bitch!" We heard a few jocks say as they walked by.

" Wait what? Eleanor did that? Holy crap she has a strong arm!" Louis yelled with admiration. Eleanor really did. The girl's face was practically swelling and you could see the perfect handprint. Props to Eleanor.

I looked around for Clare but she wasn't at her locker which is where she usually is. I quickly sent her a text automatically worried for some reason.

To Clare
Hey are you alright? Where are you at?

I waited impatiently for a respond. Did Keenan get to her?

" Hey mate calm down, what are you fussing about?" Liam asked

"Have you guys seen Clare? It's been 10 minutes since school has ended and she isn't at her locker," I spoke quietly.

They all looked at me strangely.

"Do you got the hots for Clare?" Harry asked breaking the silence while wiggling his eyebrows. I immediately blushed and got defensive. God I must've looked like an idiot.

"No, it's just that she was a little overwhelmed today, due to the fight," I said.

They all gave me a look but brushed it off. I felt my phone vibrate and immediately looked at the new text. I felt so relieved that Clare texted back.

From Clare
Yeah I'm fine, Eleanor and I are just hanging out we left school early. oh btw do you guys wanna come hang out with us at my house? The more the merrier right? But you guys don't have to if you don't want to.

To Clare
Yeah sure we will be there! :)

"OMG Zayn a smiley face? you're so cheesy!" Louis exclaimed.

I jumped realizing that Louis was watching me text the whole time. The other boys laughed.

" Whatever, people love my cheese Louis. Anyways the girls invited us to hang out, I already said we were going so yeah lets go," I spoke. The boys shook their head at me while laughing a little bit. Liam was the only one who had a car, so I gave him the directions to her house.

Clare's POV

Eleanor and I finished getting icecream and decided to head to my house. Sarah and her parents weren't here, they ended up going back to their home since I reassured them I was fine. It took a lot of convincing but I couldn't just make them stay here with me when they had their own lives to take care of. I mean Sarah still was in school, and shes studying strong, I can't distract her from that.

Eleanor and I connected so well. I found out that she had a sister and she loves photography, and Ed Sheeran. So in short, we both freaked out and fangirled over him. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and saw a text from Zayn and Eleanor noticed.

"We should invite them over, I mean it will be an opportunity get to know everyone," Eleanor spoke.

"That's a good idea!" I spoke, and sent Zayn a text.

**** 5 minutes later*****

Louis' POV

Clare lived really close to Zayn, so it wasn't a long drive. She had a really nice house it was pretty decent sized. We all got out of Liam's car and headed towards the door. Niall ran up and rang the door bell and Clare and Eleanor opened the door.

"Hey guys!" they greeted

I couldn't help but check Eleanor out, she was so gorgeous and stunning. She smiled widely at me and I responded back with a hug.

" Hey girls!" I said in a valley girl accent. They laughed and we all headed inside. The interior of Clare's house was stunning. her house wasn't huge, but it wasn't exactly tiny either.


She lead us to her living room and we just started talking randomly about our favorite hobbies and what not.

"So Eleanor, you got quite the hit!" I spoke. She laughed. Damn that was such an adorable laugh.

"Yep that hoe was asking for it. What a lowlife bitch," she said bitterly.

"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, what exactly happened?" Harry asked.

"To keep things short, she said something that she really shouldn't have about Clare," Eleanor said sassily.

I nodded proudly at Eleanor and gave her a high five.

Clare's POV

We hung out and talked for a little bit and watched the avengers. It was quiet afterwards, and I didn't realize how close Zayn and I were. We were on the same couch and I was cuddled up against him and I had no idea that I was. I quickly got up and blushed, and brushed it of by heading to the kitchen.

" I'm getting a drink do you guys want anything?" I asked.

"Sure!" They all responded.

I got to my kitchen and decided to just pour some mango lemonade for everyone.

I came back out with a bag of chips and all the lemonade. Zayn saw I needed some help, so he quickly rushed over and carried some of the cups. I thanked him and gave him a smile which he returned. We all sat down enjoying the chips and lemonade, and soon the movie ended.

"Do you guys, just ever wish that you could just step into another reality, or life that you want?" I asked. They all stared at me with this sad look in their eyes.

"All the time Clare, all the time," Louis spoke quietly. The other boys nodded in agreement.

I was confused for a minute and it seemed like Eleanor was as well. They all seem like they would have a perfect life. Well besides Zayn of course, I already know part of his story.

"What do you guys mean?" She questioned.

"It's a long story.." They all replied.

"We've got time," I responded

Heyyy! Cliffhanger! I know I haven't updated in a while, but I finally got some more ideas for the story, and you guys are so awesome! You made me wanna update and I wouldn't have continued this story without you! SO THANK YOU! I know this chapter is kinda short so, I might update later today or tomorrow, unless something comes up. And even though Zayn is no longer in the band, I'm still gonna finish this story. But yeah I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
